Now, as good an enduro driver Steven may be, I still think that Christian Klien would be a much better fit for Erebus than Engal or Johnson would ever be.

They need IndyCar back to save them financially. I DON'T CARE HOW, BUT IT NEEDS TO HAPPEN. I knew the race would hit a down hill spiral as soon as IndyCar stated they wouldn't return after 2008.
I believe in German BARawnda-Tyrrell-Simca(and it's working)
the only difference between the roman gladiators and racing drivers is that racing drivers sit inside the lion that is trying to kill them.
i just... i don't.... i thought... i thought more manufacturers would be a good thing, but Ford's on the way out, and Volvo wants in. do... do they even build V8s? for things other than Semi-Trucks/Lorrys or the XC90? the S60 Polestar has only an Inline 6, so in essence it's another pre-preduction one-off racing car, just like Chevy/Holden's SS/VF Commodore. i mean, at least Nissan builds V8 powered sedans under Infiniti, even though there's no production counterpart for the Altima V8.
i think what's happening now is the series in turning into the V8 ATCC. doesn't sound that bad to be honest

So we have the four Datsuns and the two half-decent Mercs in the top 10, four Falcons in the bottom 5 places, and the best of the Triple 8 A team and BJR cars in 14th... if this keeps going into qualifying and the races, it's gonna be one of THOSE weekends

Larko opens the bonnet of the 15 car on the grid to demonstrate something concerning engine cooling. And then something in the engine bay lets go in the same car on the first lap, with Rick now doing his usual trick of dumping oil everywhere on the racing line
EDIT: Premat spins the half-decent Merc of Slade at turn 5, comes back across the track and takes out the second half-decent Merc of Holdsworth. Nice work, muppet

To everyone with a pair of eyes, it was Webb diving up the inside of Premat who spun Slade, and Mostert getting into the back of Holdsworth.

Actually, I'll give you the Holdsworth one but I swear that Slade was already going around before Webb arrived on the scene.

In the replay, Webb was already level with, if not in front of Premat. The way Slade spun makes it look more like Webb as well, since Premat was on the outside of Webb and presumably wider than Slade, so to spin the Merc he'd've had to force Webb off the road too.
Chaz Mostert is rapidly becoming our own di Resta. The way White was talking him up there, you'd think top 15s were ultra impressive in what is essentially an FPR car
I sense a shitstorm between FPR and T8, over the dry ice issue and the restart. Considering how pissed Whincup was about his penalty at Texas, things will get very ugly very quickly if he cops another one.

It's only a matter of time before Tim Edwards storms down to the T8 garage and tries to knock Roland Dane's lights out. Assuming he doesn't have a go at Frosty first.

1-all, Davies.
