FP2 will be very wet again but the weather is supposed to be clear and dry from tomorrow morning onwards.

Same, and thoroughly excited (although alas I'm long past 16). Seats are at Farm curve, any advice any Silverstone veterans may be able to proffer?

Max Chilton is ahead of Perez

Rosberg is fastest and with the teams doing long runs, the order is unlikely to change.

Honest opinion on something to Chilton how do you actually rate him? know he is a rookie but very worrying he is behind that much

So far McLaren and Lotus have been boasting of upgrades... and will probably regret it.

Yeah, I was about to say that. Cold tyres don't do anything good for quali, so we'll see what happens. They'll have to make the best of it.

If you can get any good shots as the spectating areas are quite far away, go for it. Plus, since this is F1 Rejects, if you take any rejectful photos, please post them here!Just sayin'.

It does not look like it is going to be significantly warmer on Saturday, but Lotus might at least be relieved that it is likely to stay dry (given that their form in the wet conditions in Canada was fairly poor).go_Rubens wrote:Kimi-ICE wrote:Does anyone want me to take some photos while I'm at Silverstone?

Just out of curiosity, could you also give a little feedback on how the cars seem to be behaving on track as well? It'd be interesting to see if you're able to pick up on signs of instability or handling problems.

Only been to Silverstone once but the one advice I can give is: Just enjoy the day. Don't worry about what the positions are, who's retired or who's winning. I went in 2005 and didn't know the result until I text my dad after the race and he gave me the top 10. Of course there's screens and obviously people will be near you with a portable TV or a radio, but just forget about that and enjoy the cars going past.

Hope you gett the chance to see this before you go, but we had a thread on spectater visits to tracks a few years ago, here. May be of some use, maybe not. But maybe you could add your own contribution afterwards if you have something of value to add.

Yes I was wondering that myself about how to keep up to date with the results. Would they show the Sky broadcast on a tv? I really have no idea, but was already thinking I'd just enjoy the sights and sounds, and I'm hoping Maldonado has his inevitable off near my corner.
Also, just noticed we both have a Spyker as a profile picture
