Well it was in Forza 2 as well as far as I can remember. Not in any of the others though.
And now I have a new car manufacter to use in other series around these forums

It was built in 2009 for MotoGP and to a certain extent, auto racing. The MotoGP Spanish GP (I think) has been held there since it opened, and is a fantastic layout for MotoGP.

That Wikipedia article links to the circuit's official website. Whose domain name expired on 5th August 2013 at 7:13 pm...

Here's a video from 2007, recorded on this track. I would have linked a 2012 touring car race video, if YouTube didn't shite itself yet again, but that video didn't start for me at all. I don't know if that is even possible to have a race here without some huge improvements. The asphalt quality for example looks below par.
Both circuits, I believe, would fall slightly short of the minimum length requirement given by the FIA of 4.3km (Monaco being given special dispensation), although this could in theory reach that minimum length with a small extension. Realistically, though, the likelihood of this circuit reaching the required safety standards is pretty low to say the least - the more likely scenario would be one of the semi street circuits that we've seen in Valencia and Singapore (i.e. set in urban environments but the infrastructure being at least partially built with motorsport in mind).

In another thread at this very forum someone said the minimum length is 3.5 kilometers and before that I always thought it was 3.8125 kilometers. I really am confused now.
How much will the Venezuelan government cough up to have the race? That's the main question.
When Montoya was a title contender, no one saw a reason to have another race in South America, so Maldonado certainly isn't entitled to "have his own race". The race won't make any money in terms of boosting the automotive industry, so it would come down purely to the $$$ paid to hold the race.

True, not to mention the automotive industry is doing quite well on its own around these parts. Having a race in northern south america to boost the industry would be completely redundant and idiotic. Besides people are apprehensive enough of Brazil, they'd never agree to a race being held in Venezuela, or say, Colombia way back when.
DEPORTIVO CA... pfft hahaha can't say that with a straight face! Misses Minardi dearly.

Sorry, I stand corrected as I appear to have conflated two slightly different factors.
The FIA's regulations do in fact state that the minimum length for an F1 circuit should be 3.5km, although it appears that they have slightly relaxed their requirements now (it used to say that they "will" take into account a minimum length of 3.5km, but now they "may" take it into consideration instead). However, it appears to be the case that, with the exception of Monaco, the shortest circuits that have been used in practise in recent years have had a minimum length of 4.3km, with Interlagos being the shortest conventional circuit in use right now (4.309km).

Honestly, I think 22 is way too many races in a season - this needs to be an exclusive list of F1 tracks, not something that includes everyone wanting to have a race. Plus, it makes every race that much better. 18 is my ideal number, 20 is a realistic hope for me.

I bet that there will not be a race at New Jersey next year. If whoever challenges me loses, they will have to use the following as an avatar:
Keep calm and what? Its a bit illegible.
I think it says, "Keep Calm and Hate on Sebastian Vettel." Either that or love him...

And my comment above was facetious. Sorry.

So, if they do get the gig for an F1 race, who disappears? New Jersey or Austin? Or both? Surely both New Jersey and Austin stay together on the calendar if these guys get the contract for a race back for the first time since 1983.

Are we expecting Long Beach to happen then? Because I'd say the odds of the NJ GP going ahead are higher.

Wow. Just think, all those US races and barely enough US interest for just one!
And, no this Long Beach nonsense is just that. And I dont think Gene Haas will start a team up either. Although, just the other day I 'Liked' the US-F1 Facebook page even though its had no activity for years BECAUSE I STILL BELIEVE!
