Okay, surely there must be some option for Harvick, Busch and Greg Biffle to swear never to drive for Bill Davis ever again after a performance like that :P

Anyway, here are the sponsorship schedules for the two BAM Racing cars, as promised:

Car #49
World Financial Group: Atlanta, Daytona X2, Texas, Homestead, Sebring, Dover, Charlotte, Rockingham US
Snap-On Tools: Road America, Milwaukee, Mexico City, Talladega, Sonoma, Laguna Seca, Fontana, St Pete
ConAgra: Kansas City
AmericInn: Michigan, Mid Ohio, Martinsville
Husqvarna: Portland, Twin-Ring, Phoenix, Darlington, Las Vegas, Dover
USG Durock: Chicago, Indianapolis, Watkins Glen, Richmond
redneckjunk.com: Montreal, Rockingham UK
Howes Lubricator: New Hampshire, Dover
Energizer: Calder Park

Car #59
Bennett Lane Winery: Fontana, Laguna Seca, Sonoma, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Portland, Talladega
Energizer: Daytona 500, Bristol, Charlotte, Indianapolis, Darlington

Also, is it a bad time to point out that GMAC is actually owned by General Motors at the time, and thus there's no way in hell they'd sponsor a non-Chevy team? :P

Yates Bids for these drivers (for either car):

Kurt Busch (7.5 million)
Robby Gordon (7 million)
Jimmy Spencer(2.5 million)
Kasey Kahne (1.75 million)

McGlyn Bids for these drivers, all at $350,000

Kerry Earnhardt
Larry Foyt
Jeff Fuller
Coy Gibbs
Mark Green
Steve Grissom

And I honestly don't care about the schedule, so long as Darlington is 500 miles and on Labor Day.

Well balls. :P Wish you'd told me when I first made the sponsor list. Erm for the sake of not screwing over MB2, in this universe GM will sell off GMAC for trying to sponsor a Nissan team. Yeah that works. :?

Since Mickel has driven the Rockingham oval several times, he is approved to run the Foster 300 only. He does request to run #66 however when he is in the car. He'll bring $100,000 from Xerox.

Uh, you do realise Scott Dixon drives for Chip Ganassi in IndyCar, right? As in, the same Chip Ganassi that runs a team in NASCAR? :P

Re: Alternate NASCAR 2004-Driver Bids Go_Rubens Bids Needed

Post by Samster »

Time for the driver RNGs. I'll run these in the order the drivers finished in the 2003 drivers championship. This is a very long post.

Matt Kenseth only has an offer from Roush. He'll stay in the #17.

Jimmie Johnson will stay in the Hendrick #48.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. Has an offer to stay with DEI but would prefer to drive a Chevrolet and has an offer from Hendrick with the largest salary offer of the silly season.
1-60 Hendrick
61-90 DEI
91-100 Evernham

34, He signs with Hendrick to drive the #25.

Jeff Gordon will stay in the Hendrick #24.

Kevin Harvick Has an offer to stay with Childress as well as an ambitious offer from Davis.
1-95 Richard Childress Racing ($6,000,000) 1
96-100 Bill Davis Racing ($5,500,000) 2

79, He stay in the Childress #29.

Ryan Newman only has an offer to stay in the Penske #12 which he accepts.

Tony Stewart Has an offer to stay with Gibbs but would prefer a Chevrolet team. Hendrick are attractive but Childress are offering more money and he's more likely to have a team leader role.
1-50 Richard Childress Racing ($13,000,000) 2
51-85 Hendrick Motorsports ($11,500,000)
86-100 Joe Gibbs Racing ($12,000,000) 1

91 Despite the switch to Toyota, Stewart remains loyal to Gibbs and stays in the #20.

Bobby Labonte Staying with Gibbs is the favourite as only Ganassi matched their offer.
1-70 Joe Gibbs Racing ($6,000,000) 2
71-85 Chip Ganassi Racing ($6,000,000) 2
86-95 Richard Childress Racing ($5,000,000) 5
96-100 MB2 Motorsports ($5,500,000) 3

8 Labonte will stay in the Gibbs #18.

Terry Labonte Hendrick hasn't offered to renew his contract but he has offers from five other teams
1-30 Evernham Motorsports ($6,000,000) 5
31-60 Dale Earnhardt Inc. ($6,000,000) 5
61-85 Chip Ganassi Racing ($6,000,000) 3
86-95 Haas CNC Racing ($5,000,000) 1
96-100 PPI Motorsports ($5,000,000) 2

63 Terry will move to Ganassi.

Kurt Busch Roush has offered to renew his contract but he has offers from 8 other teams all offering more money than Roush are.
1-25 Team Penske ($10,000,000) 1
26-40 Richard Childress Racing ($8,000,000) 3
41-55 Joe Gibbs Racing ($7,000,000) 6
56-65 Robert Yates Racing ($7,500,000) 1
66-75 Dale Earnhardt Inc. ($7,500,000) 3
76-85 Evernham Motorsports ($7,000,000) 3
86-95 Roush Racing ($5,000,000) 5
96-98 MB2 Motorsports ($5,500,000) 1
99-100 Bill Davis Racing ($5,500,000) 4

15 Kurt signs with Penske to drive the new #00 team.

Jeff Burton Roush haven't offered to renew but he has offers from seven other teams.
1-30 Richard Childress Racing ($8,500,000) 4
31-55 Evernham Motorsports ($8,500,000) 2
56-75 Joe Gibbs Racing ($7,000,000) 5
76-90 Dale Earnhardt Inc. ($7,500,000) 2
91-95 Chip Ganassi Racing ($6,000,000) 4
96-99 Bill Davis Racing ($5,500,000) 1
100 Petty Enterprises ($2,500,000) 2

47 Jeff Burton moves to Evernham.

Jamie McMurray Has offers from nine teams including current team Ganassi who have made the best offer.
1-25 Chip Ganassi Racing ($6,000,000) 6
26-50 Evernham Motorsports ($5,250,000) 9
51-65 Bill Davis Racing ($5,100,000) 3
66-75 Roush Racing ($2,000,000) 12
76-85 Joe Gibbs Racing ($2,000,000) 13
86-95 Dale Earnhardt Inc. ($2,500,000) 12
96-98 MB2 Motorsports ($2,000,000) 4
99-100 PPI Motorsports ($3,500,000) 3

28 McMurray opts for Evernham but he's low on their priority list. If Evernham sign one of the drivers higher up, I'll run McMurray's RNG again.

Rusty Wallace will stay in the Penske #2 completing their lineup.

Michael Waltrip DEI have made an offer to renew but four other teams have at least matched their offer.
1-20 Roush Racing ($5,000,000) 7
21-40 Evernham Motorsports ($5,750,000) 6
41-60 Chip Ganassi Racing ($6,000,000) 5
61-80 Dale Earnhardt Inc. ($5,000,000) 7
81-100 Richard Childress Racing ($5,000,000) 9

71 Waltrip will stay in the DEI #15.

Robby Gordon RCR have offered to renew but four other teams have made better offers though Evernham already has McMurray in their books for their remaining car and is ahead in the que.
1-35 Robert Yates Racing ($7,000,000) 2
36-50 Chip Ganassi Racing ($4,000,000) 7
51-65 Dale Earnhardt Inc. ($3,500,000) 10
66-80 Richard Childress Racing ($2,200,000) 6
81-90 Joe Gibbs Racing ($2,000,000) 9
91-99 Roush Racing ($2,000,000) 8
100 Morgan-McClure Motorsports ($2,000,000) 2

77 Gordon will stay in the Childress #31 opting for a higher team rather than a higher salary.

Mark Martin only has an offer from Roush and will stay in the #6.

Sterling Marlin Has offers from seven teams including all of the 'big four' teams though only Hendrick are offering more than his current team Ganassi.
1-50 Hendrick Motorsports ($9,500,000) 2
51-75 Chip Ganassi Racing ($8,000,000) 1
76-83 Roush Racing ($5,500,000) 4
84-91 Richard Childress Racing ($5,500,000) 10
92-97 Joe Gibbs Racing ($5,000,000) 7
98-99 Bill Davis Racing ($5,100,000) 1
100 Victory In Jesus Racing ($1,000,000) 3

How come Victory in Jesus doesn't have a driver? If that's the case, we'll put Morgan Shepherd in the car and have him drive for free.

All of your bids failed. So yes you can have Morgan for free.

Both Bill Davis Racing and Robert Yates Racing have a seat still open so Andrew and Wallio will have to submit more bids.

As a former BTCC champion, Plato is accepted for the road courses. He is also approved for Rockingham thanks to his year in ASCAR.

If it's okay, I'd like to take over Arnold Motorsports.

It does appear however there are no untaken sponsors left. Which leaves me in quite a pickle. Please correct me if I'm wrong on that one...

Our driver choices are;
1. Derrick Cope - Nothing (it's his equipment anyways)
2. Frank Kimmell - $250,000
3. Dick Trickle - $250,000
4. James Hylton - $100,000
5. Joe Ruttman - $200,000

As it turns out, no more RNGs were needed as only Menard received more than one bid.

Travis Kvapil signs for Bill Davis Racing.

Dave Blaney signs for Robert Yates Racing.

Derrike Cope will drive the Arnold #50.

Coy Gibbs will drive the BAM #59.

Shawna Robinson will drive the Phoenix #76. She brings $200,000 from Vasserette who will serve as an associate sponsor.

Paul Menard accepts the offer to drive the #33 at Laguna Seca and Watkins Glen

Ron Fellows accepts the offer to drive the #32 in the four races requested.

Jason Plato accepts the offer to drive the #4 in road courses and Rockingham.

Scott Pruett will drive the Jasper #87 if Ganassi (simonracer) give him permission. If not then Paul Menard will drive the races he doesn't do for RCR with Scott Gaylord doing the rest.

Tony Ave will drive the DSI #13.

Carlos Contreras and Austin Cameron agree to drive for MB2 and Haas whenever needed.

Finally Bill Elliott would like to drive the Evernham #90 in both the Budweiser Shootout and the All-Star Race. As non-championship races, these won't count towards your entry allowance. McDonalds would sponsor these two races as well as the one they already agreed to.
