So I'll be doing the British GP again this year, after one of my mates double-booked himself for Le Mans, and today I went and bought a nice England flag which will be a canvas to show my appreciation of Max's performances.

If you imagine the Cross of St George, and the four white quadrants, I'm thinking of having "Our Max" in the top two quadrants, a large number 4 in the middle of the cross, and then I'm undecided on the bottom two. I was thinking of having "Jenson" in one and "Lewis" in another but what do people think? Should I go all in and dedicate the entire flag to our hero Max? :lol:

Clearly go all out with Max love, unless you want to go with some reject love of days gone by in the bottom two quadrants. Perry McCarthy? Desmond Titterington, for the name alone? Conversation starter if nothing else.

Next to my home race at Silverstone, there’s no better atmosphere than at the Monaco Grand Prix; it’s electric. It’s perhaps the most demanding race on the calendar, but at the same time, a fantastic experience from start to finish and I really enjoy the track’s unique challenges. Last year I secured my best result of the season here, so I’ll be hoping for more of the same, if not better. We had a really good test last week and the progress was clear to see. Although we aren’t expecting the timesheets to read in quite the same way as the Barcelona test, what we can be encouraged by is the work we have done to improve the set-up of the car and we can now translate those improvements through to the next events, to help us achieve a realistic next step over the course of a race weekend.

Whoa.... That's kinda freaky man...

Aside from Chilton, there were many drivers that were on their way to F1 - Daniel Ricciardo, Marcus Ericsson, Jules Bianchi, Esteban Gutierrez, and Valtteri Bottas. There is also many drivers that have raced in GP2 as well. Lots of alums in British F3.

It happens when he hits 88 mph. Only he knows how to attach a flux capacitor to an F1 2014- spec engine and to get it through scrutineering!

"It's been a tough start to my Monaco weekend, particularly the loss of track time in FP1 this morning. We were hoping to make up for lost time this afternoon, but the weather intervened and when we were able to get into the dry programme, of course everyone was taking advantage of the same improving conditions, so traffic was a factor. On a positive note, we seem to have carried through the good work from the test in Barcelona and the car seems to be performing well, so in many ways my weekend will start in FP3 on Saturday morning."

Given that for most of Formula 1's existence, cars would've dropped out to give him at least sixth in those races, it's still just as impressive. Although whether his own Lotus would've held up then becomes another question.

He did had something planned for the race day. Unselfishly he decided that Bianchi, his team-mate, should have had the honors of scoring the 'new-teams' first points sacrificing his race in the process by getting out of the way of the battle. Can there be any more talent than that? Of course not.

It actually goes a lot further than that. Max was in fact the strategic brains behind the Marussia points finish. Eh, I think if you go onto Reddit expecting good, rational conversation, you're very likely to be disappointed. This is the site, after all, which typifies the neckbearded, fedora-wearing (or is it a trilby?) nerd and has large communities openly supporting the likes of Bitcoin and MRAs.

But yeah, neither site gets the ChiltonCraze. It makes me feel sorry for them.

I think he's referring to RwS not getting the Chilton craze rather than poor quality of posts.
