F1 Reject Members in Cape Town?

Post by johnston21 »

Being posted to Cape Town for an extended period. Though I have my Slingbox, it's always fun/better to watch with others (whether at a Sport Bar or wherever).

Any (friendly) forum members local to Cape Town? Team/Driver preference is not a concern (but must be of legal drinking age)...

I like your train of thought! But unfortunately, I am not in South Africa, but South Scotland. :P

I don't remember any member identifying themselves as being from South Africa, never mind Cape Town, but of course, that may be complete ignorance on my part.

And I'm in neither South Africa nor South Scotland, but South England! (And the only other region I've lived is South France!)

When being in France, i was confused by a road sign 'S. Afrique'. I later realised that this was Saint Afrique, and that in french, it should be Afrique du Sud anyway.

I'm from South Belgium, so nope for me too :P

However, I do seem to vaguely remember a member from South Africa, but I don't remember where he came from or even if he still comes around here.

Every member here seems to live in some sort of South!

I live in South Australia (well, at least the SA initials are right), and the only other state I have lived in was New South Wales.

South is overrated. :P Totally north here! Well, except that my house is on the south of our garden, but i'm still in the most northern room of the house.

But on topic, i fear there aren't many members from the African continent at all. Which is a shame, because all other continents (except Antarctica) seem to be represtended in here.

Well I'll confess that I've been living in Southern Canada (but that's still in the "North," for all Northern members likings).

What's gone funny about this thread is that 65%+ of the replies have been from members since 2009 (including myself).

Thanks for all the giggles.

Another South Australian. My house isn't really in that dodgy of an area, but I still live on the wrong side of Grand Junction Road
