I have a very specific request.
A friend of mine is enquiring as to the year that this t-shirt would come from based on the helmets. Unfortunately my helmet recognition skills are deficient. Photo is from late 90s/early 2000s.
Any help much appreciated.

That's far too blurry to make anything out

It's hard to tell given the quality of the image, but I think the one in the centre far right may or may not be Salo's.

The very middle one looks a lot like Ayrton Senna, and to the right of his seems to be Alex Caffi... any chance of a better resolution picture?

Unfortunately no better resolution is forthcoming, it's a scanned photo I was sent over FB. Cheers for the suggestions so far though guys! I think Barrichello and M. Schumacher are next to each other on 4th row down? There is always the possibility that it's some unlicensed thing that doesn't correspond to any particular year.

The top and bottom rows look remarkably similar.

Now that you mention it, I think they're identical! Also, the top left/bottom left looks very similar to Lauda's design from when he was at McLaren, only the 'L' is reversed.

2nd from the left on top and bottom rows looks a bit like Ralf Schumacher's helmet, but missing the small patch of black near the visor.

My guess is that it's a piece of bootleg memorablia, and therefore doesn't fit into any real-life season.

This is what I see in the image, but it looks like these are drawings of real helmets without some details or changed colors because of lame-ass copyright whining.

Cheers for the suggestions guys! Looks like it was bootleg, and they're approximated designs not based on any season in particular.
