Brad Keselowski goes full retard
The fact that Russler, Jr, and Kes could all be eliminated from the Chase this weekend is hilarious. I've decided I want Ryan Newman to win the Cup this year...without winning a race or even getting a podium.

If that happens, I hope he doesn't even score another top-5... he's only had 2 all season!

Eh what? Seriously? There's a championship contender who has only had 2 top-5s all season?

Yep. That's what the new Chase format allows.
Speaking of the Chase, am I the only one who is anticipating all the inevitably awful Chase puns that happen as soon as Chase Elliott moves up to the Cup series?

If NASCAR really wants to make winning mean everything why not just bring in Bernie's Medals System?

Classic Harvick. He hasn't grown up one bit since he joined the sport. He should be parked for Phoenix at least, but of course NASCAR wouldn't dare do that...

If anyone's gonna be parked, it will be Keselowski, just because he's unpopular at present. They'd never dare to park Gordon.

I know they won't park Harvick, I was just saying that if anyone will get parked, it'll be Kes, because nobody likes him at present. And Gordon's record of consecutive starts means they'll never think of parking him.

I don't think you quite understand where I'm coming from with this. I said NASCAR wouldn't dare park Harvick because he's a title contender. Kes should've been parked after doing a burnout in the garage area and crashing into cars on pit lane after the race had finished at Charlotte. But he wasn't because he's in the Chase.

Why the hell did Harvick get involved? IIRC he wasn't involved in the on-track contretemps that caused Gordon to go over to Kes after the race and Harvick should've minded his own business, at the most maybe say something in an interview about the accident, but he shouldn't have got involved in their argument. ROTR to Kevin Harvick from me.

From what I heard, that was not all. Because of that incident, NASCAR further penalized two blokes who were calmly drinking outside the circuit and a woman who was crossing the street in the state of Maine at that time.

Indeed, it would be like the end of the chase as Newman would have not been worthy for more than 8th in points.

The best scenario? What Salamander said, and with Newman second. So UUUUUUUUUUUUURNHARDT wins, and Newman gets the title without winning a single race

I think it'd be funnier if he finished sixth to take the title, so the champion would be a driver with only four top-5s all season.

Even better if Hamlin, Logano, and Harvick finished in 41st to 43rd, Newman only need 40th to become champion
