The Belgian Grand Prix wrote:Larini: Minor pop-off valve trouble on Friday morning, but for once car ran without breaking odnw. Running too much wing afternoon and lost 20mins changing this. Scraped into the field 26th after only four laps. Suffered fuel pump trouble from second lap of the race onwards. Pitted after 13 laps and retired a lap later.

The Japanese Grand Prix wrote:Larini: His first visit to Suzuka. The car was handling alirght, but progress was slowed on Friday morning with a broken wheel. Balance was better but traffic kept him down the grid. Suffere engine trouble in the warm-up and a hurried engine change took palce. Ran at the end of the field and then retired when a wheel fell off.

The San Marino Grand Prix wrote:Larini: Used repiared car from testing accident. Made it through pre-qualifying bu managed just four laps on Friday morning. Fine performance in the afternoon netting 12th, and 14th on Saturday. Ran strongly in the race to sixth until suspension vibration set in when car grew lighter as the fuel was used up. Dropped back and crashed on lap 53 when a hub broke. A fine showing.
Ghinzani: Enigne never ran cleanly in pre-qualifying, suffered an electrical gremlin and Piercarlo failed to make the cut.

Nicola Larini, still tipped a possible Ferrari number two in 1990, was in fine qualifying form, but retired with engine problem after nearly wiping out Jean-Marie Balestre and Roland Bruynseraede as they ambled across after starting the event.

Osella will almost certainly continue with just a single-car set-up in 1991. It is suggested that the team hopes to use Chrysler Lamborghini 12s in place of its Cosworth DFRs.

Osella is scheduled to move from its long-standing Torino headquarters to a new factory at Bergamo, close to owner Fondmetal's wheel foundry. The team should know soon whether it has secured Chrysler Lamborghini V12s for 1991, and is due to identify its new chief desginer shortly.

As part of its expansion programme for 1991, Fondmetal Osella has signed an option with F3000 racer Paul Belmondo and will decide in November whether to run two cars next year. Belmondo will undertake a series of tests before an decision is made about his status within the team. He and current incumbent Olivier Grouillard were last team-mates in French F3

The Belgian Grand Prix wrote:Grouillard: Made it through pre-qualifying with no trouble. Tried a new rear wing and new Pirelli rubber on Friday morning but switched back to the original spec for the afternoon. Twentieth-five overnight. Hit a kerb on Saturday morning and broke the rear suspension. The car was repaired for the afternoon and Olivier improved by 2.3 seconds to take 23rd on the grid, despite having to back off when Piquet went off. Managed to avoid all the accidents and ran at the tail of the field, stopping for tyres once, to finish 16th.
