Update from posted earlier, Clarin insist on it and gives more detail
http://www.clarin.com/diario/2010/02/17 ... 142147.htm. Taking information from their own given by Lopez people and motorsport Total
http://www.motorsport-total.com/f1/news ... 21713.html (please, someone from germany, clarify if they are reliable).
To make it brief: USF1 would fall, Lopez would align himself with Senna, Campos would get the money from Hurley, Dallara from Campos, and Stefan gets the entry. Intense negotiations under way in London (from Arg report, can't read german and, for google'translating, I prefer someone who actually speaks the language to give his own version).
Sudden canibalisation, may I say, But maybe this is the only way to save a complete grid.
Phoenix: Do you thought this as a chance? I wouldn't imagined that (and still to refuse to believe):
1) Dallara continued on their own their development awaiting a miracle from Campos.
2) That Campos were in position in which they were preferable to USF1 to make Hurley jump from one sinking boat to another (I could understand abandoning the ship, but, you should learn something from new fresh teams by now,
3) Still there was room to start doing this kind of fixing, and
4) That Lopez money (if everything else is true) would be relevant to save Campos.
But, there are a couple of hints that suddenly come to light:
1) Stefan made arrengements for first four races, Ecclestone, knowing that a fall from at least one team or the other would fail must have gave them the nod.
2) Maybe there's the reason for Campos not even giving a hint on a second driver (hard to believe, but, Conspiracy theorist! Stand Up, The victim now is the Victimary!!!)
Well, fuel enough to keep the flame over the thread at least.
Winners have lots of friends, losers have good friends.
