I only decided to read a bit about Tom Jones on Wikipedia when I stumbled on this:

Very sad for many reasons, but especially that not even Autosport mentioned his passing on May 29th of this year. I, as a member of GPrejects, give my condolences to the family of Thomas C. Jones.

Only a few days ago I was looking at his F1 Rejects profile through the Wayback Machine. As noted in that profile, he was definitely one of the more obscure names in the sport's history, but at least he's remembered here.
