Upgrades can be done before every other race, starting from round 2. As before, you can choose between Power, Grip & Reliability and the cost is
Small £250,000

If F1's twelfth-greatest driver ever couldn't get our car into the top 25, we'll need to be all aboard the upgrade train as soon as possible.
Seriously, we're a second slower than a Life car with the same power. How is that even possible?

Qualifying - Mexico
Once again the Williams-Renault cars were the class of the field in qualifying with Jean Alesi taking his second pole of the season from his team-mate Thierry Boutsen by six hundredths of a second. Four tenths behind in third was the McLaren of Ayrton Senna with Pierluigi Martini for company in the Arrows. Alain Prost was the lead Ferrari in fifth alongside Nigel Mansell in the Dallara. At the back Mark Blundell failed to qualify his Ligier for the second race in a row and he will rather surprisingly be joined on the sidelines by David Brabham.

Race - Mexico
Pierluigi Martini becomes the second debut winner in two races as he fights off Alain Prost's Ferrari to claim Arrows second ever win. Nigel Mansell came home a distant third to give Dallara their second podium of the season. Michael Schumacher keeps the lead in the drivers championship with an unspectacular fourth place in the second Ferrari. Ivan Capelli keeps up his strong start to the season in fifth and he is joined in the points by his Minardi team-mate Alex Zanardi who passed Eddie Irvine two laps from home to deny AGS their first point for three years.
