Not sure why there's only an RoTR thread, so I guess it's up to me...
IIDoTR:
1. Haas: Put on one of their best race showings in ages, and from relatively low down on the grid
2. Verstappen: two races in a row without a DNF, and he's finished in first and second respectively. For a while it looked like he could win too, despite Red Bull being a little off the pace.
HM:
Ocon: Great start and if Force India were a little faster could have got on the podium
Palmer: did a decent job defending from the Force Indias at one point, so credit where it's due, I guess

Re: Infinite Improbability Drive of The Race - Japan
1. Haas - they said themselves that they are fighting tooth and nail for every single point in this part of the season, so a double points finish is especially welcome to them.
2. Verstappen - by default really, he challenged Hamilton throughout and without Bottas and lapped cars coming into play, he could have won this.

1. Kevin Magnussen: Good qualifying and impressive race result after Haas' recent struggles.
2. Esteban Ocon: Ran third for a while and was the best-placed driver outside the top three teams.

1. Haas - double points finishes are very rare for them
2. Force India - nice to see them follow instructions for once (surely they have P4 sown up now?)![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)

Re: Infinite Improbability Drive of The Race - Japan
Ok, well because this thread was delayed, not many people submitted, so the legitimacy of this one is a little up for debate. Plus one of the votes was for people I've never even heard of (can we stop doing that, please?), but here are the results anyway:
1. Haas 30
2. Kevin Magnussen 20
3. Max Verstappen 18
4. Richie Stanaway 10
5. Esteban Ocon 6
- Force India 6
7. David Reynolds 3
- Luke Youlden 3
Haas, and their driver Kevin Magnussen, win the IIDOTR award for this race, and it's difficult to argue they don't deserve it. A consistent performance from the team to bag a double-points finish this late on in a season where the divide between the developing and non-developing teams is going to show heavily, is very impressive, and they should be applauded for it.
