2017, most would agree, was awful in the world at large. Too many controversies to count, increasingly bitter arms races and suspicious dealings, and a social media environment that only got uglier and more divided.

But enough about the state of Formula One.

It's time to delve into the yearly discussion: who disappointed the most in 2017? Who was most regularly projecting an air of general ineptitude? Who was, all things considered, just not up to par?

Our newly-appointed head editor East Londoner carefully pondered these questions, considered the opinions of forum members, pre-season expectations and results, and arrived at reject podium.

This is the 2017 Reject of the Year Podium.

Expected the Reject of the Year, to be honest. 3rd on the podium is a fair shock, especially considering their early form, but makes sense once you think about it.

But seriously, yeah, it's hard to really disagree with this podium. Although isn't it about time we gave Londoner mod privileges so he can do the announcements himself? Or can we still not trust him?
