What should the next edition of the podcast be called?

Post by eytl »

Well, I guess it's pretty obvious, Jamie and I haven't been able to coordinate a time in our schedules to do a Bahrain podcast :o  :(

Sorry folks. It was always unlikely that we would be able to do a podcast each race, given Jamie's rugby-related job and activities, and my life with "two under two". We just thank you for your continued support and ask for your patience, and hopefully absence does make the heart grow fonder.

In the meantime, I've been thinking, if we do a combined Bahrain-Australian edition, what should it be called? The "Ausrainian" edition? The "Bahstralian" edition? The "Bahralian" edition?

Your thoughts on the best way to mesh "Bahrain" and "Australia" together?

Or for that matter, how do you join Bahrain, Australia AND Malaysia???

I am going to say the "Pan-Asian" edition, risking being written off by Aussies at large... :?

I think the "Bahstralaysian" edition sounds good but I hope it doesn't come to that, we don't want to have 3 races crammed into a 1 hour podcast. Or maybe that is the solution, do less podcasts but make them a little longer to fit all of the usual banter along with the race news & reviews.

They left the OFC to join the AFC, depriving American Samoa and Vanuatu of losing by more than 20 goals, so Pan-Asian is not improper!

Provided its not the '2010 Season Review', I will be quite happy.

The Bahraustralaysain Edition of the Formula One Rejects Podcast.

Alternatively, if you get it done sooner, the Sakbourne edition.

The FOGAQBAGPASAP Edition.

(that's Formula One Gulf Air/Qantas Bahrain/Australian Grand Prix At Sakhir/Albert Park Edition and can be called 'FOG.ack.bag.PAS.app' or by its initials)

The Gulfantas Bahralian Edition has a certain ring to it, too.

If all the first few races dont live up to expectations you could call it the Public-o-crap edition.

Flyaway sounds like an "appropriate" proper title to use for the first 4 races.

Failing that, there's always Bah-stra-laysia-nese...

Seeing as it's a user-made podcast and with all of Virgin's problems, how about the CFD edition?

I was thinking it would be more of a DIY podcast, but then, that is neither funny nor witty, so please just ignore me...

Just noticed I spelt "Humouring" with two o's instead of two u's so edited it. But which power tools to use? A drill as a metaphor for the drilling Rosberg appears to be giving Schumi? A chisel (or however it's spelt) for the new teams chiselling away at their problems?

Not a power tool, but a shovel pretty much illustrates the hole Virgin has dug for itself. Now, power tools in that topic... huh... :o
