Zanardi and Kristensen? Not too shabby. Jordan looks forward to having Alex and Tom in the 198 and hopes to score a decent amount of points, whilst being in a good position to surprise should the opportunity arise.

Re: 1998 F1 Management Series - THE RETURN
For the purposes of popping the crowd, would it be possible to run Max Wilson in the 2nd Arrows for the Brazilian and Argentine races in place of Coronel?

Round 1 - Australian Grand Prix - 8th March, 1998
Qualifying
![Image](https://i.imgur.com/DrixnVl.png)
Race
Giancarlo Fisichella clinched the Australian Grand Prix victory in his Formula 1 debut for Ferrari, assuming the lead late on in the race as long-time leader Michael Schumacher hit trouble.
Schumacher led away from pole and built a colossal gap in the early stages of the race between himself and the chasing McLaren duo of Greg Moore and Dario Franchitti.
Fisichella meanwhile had endured a terrible start to the race, slipping down to eighth place as he was engulfed by the McLarens, the Williams duo and Mika Hakkinen.
Leaving the rest of the field 40 seconds in arrears at the end of the second pitstop phase, Schumacher looked to have the Albert Park race wrapped up before his gearbox began to cry enough with five laps remaining.
Sliding down the order, Schumacher recovered to the pits, but was stuck in fourth gear and unable to pull away, gifting Fisichella - who had jumped the two McLarens as both cars had to pit for a third time - the race win.
Hakkinen marked his Benetton debut with a podium, having been within the battle among the top four for the majority of the race, while reigning champion Jacques Villeneuve got his title defence off to a solid start with a podium finish.

No f
king way!! Kristensen 4th ,ahead of both McLarens, a Williams and a Benneton? Bollocks that's brilliant!
It's a tad surprising to see Alex qualify behind his rookie teammate, but we understand he's been used to cars with more power, less grip, less downforce and more forgiving to mistakes over the past couple of years, and we're confident he will make inroads over the following races.

Fisico!
Amazing debut drive from the young Italian. The Italian press are going to be all over this. First Italian to win for Ferrari since Alboreto in 1985 I do believe.

9th & 10th isn’t a bad start but neither is it anything special, happy that both cars finished on the lead lap.
Liking that both drivers are pretty much unable to be split on the timesheets though!

Re: 1998 F1 Management Series - ROUND 2
Round 2 - Brazilian Grand Prix - 29th March, 1998
Qualifying
Positions 1-12
Positions 13-26
Race
Ferrari's Michael Schumacher converted a brave one-stop strategy at the Brazilian Grand Prix, beating Formula 1 newcomer Dario Franchitti to victory at Interlagos.
Schumacher ran a contrary strategy to the two McLaren drivers, electing to take on board more fuel at the start of the race to necessitate just one pit-stop throughout the 71-lap race.
Franchitti and Greg Moore, both two-stopping, surged past Schumacher on lighter tanks on the opening lap of the race, and waltzed into a strong lead before coming in at a third-distance of the race.
Reassuming the lead, Schumacher crucially kept the gap between himself and Franchitti no lower than 12 seconds, and pitted himself for fuel and fresh tyres to relinquish the lead to the Scottish driver.
But Franchitti could not extend his lead, and on his return to the pits came out on track over 20s behind two-time champion Schumacher.
Although the gap was whittled down, Franchitti ran out of time to catch Schumacher and eventually settled for second - his first F1 podium to date.
Reigning champion Jacques Villeneuve once again stood on the podium, beating Benetton's Mika Hakkinen to the rostrum.

First point of the season! Positive result from the drivers there, unfortunate for Eddie to drop out late in the race.

another solid outing for Williams. though ferrari seems to be on another level this season. why did McLaren go for unproven talent instead of keeping hakkinen and coulthard?

If I hear one more person question my driver choices I'm gonna hire Buckshot Jones and Kenny Irwin Jr for 1999, I swear to god. If you think Franchitti and Moore are unproven talents, you ain't seen nothing yet.

hey, just so we cool, I'm playing my character here. of cpurse, I know that Franchitti and Moore are more than capable of holding their own in F1. it's just, that, in the context of the time, Franchitti didn't achieve much in CART, cause Dario would have his first winning season in 98. Moore already scored two wins as well as podium finishes the year prior. plus, you know how F1 people can be so snobbish and egotistical.

Ah, no worries, I'm just in this to mess around and have fun, I'm not terribly concerned about actually winning - else I wouldn't be threatening to run two relative nobodies.
