Hello everyone! New members' check in desk
Re: Hello everyone! New members' check in desk
Hi,
New here as I saw Nuppiz was a mod and remember him from some other sites/forums - Chiefly gpracegames.
Saw the site had gone missing and with it all the GPW and GPM2 mods! Set up a reddit for GPW, I have GPW files but more stuff seemed to always be being worked on eventually, sad to see it all disappear

Hi Jops, I remember seeing you around on GPRaceGames!
Yes, this is one of the many things on internet I've done besides GPM2...
I've got most of the GPM2 stuff secured, but at the moment I'm still thinking of whether there's any point in starting yet another "GPM2/old Formula 1 manager games in general" forum. Having worked full-time since the start of 2017 has left me with limited free time, and during my free time I generally don't want to do anything even remotely resembling a job. And as much as I like modding things... sometimes it just gets so tedious that you start to think it as a part-time job at least.

Yeah don't blame you man, it's been 20 years since those games were a thing, dont see the need for any forum around it now, thats why I stuck a reddit up for GPW in case anyone ever gets curious, just great to see a familiar name!

hello guys!
my name is kinnikuniverse and it's my first time here, on this site.
seeing all those alternate championship series thread inspired me to make my own non-canon championship with GT cars.
and not just any GT championship, one based on the group B regulations of the 80s!
however, I am totally new to how this site and it's championship threads works, so I hope you guys can answer my Questions!

A bit belated, but welcome aboard!
Try asking Klon or poking around the Perry Maccarthy Memorial Forum, which does have a thread to discuss potential future series.

Hello guys, I've been sitting around here for a fair bit of time now and I reckon now is the time to give a little background of myself. My name is Shawn and I am from Malaysia, and I'm an incredibly crappy pianist (ignore the last bit). I am an avid fan of a myriad of motorsport types, ranging from F1, FE, Indycar and MotoGP to series like the BTCC, DTM, V8 Supercars (although not so much these days), Blancpain GT and more recently Trans-Am. My favourite racing drivers/riders are Fernando Alonso and Fabio Quatararo and my favourite racing car is the 2000 Team Rahal Shell Reynard Ford driven by Kenny Brack(that car is simply gorgeous). My favourite reject team is Onyx and my fave reject rejecter is Alex Yoong(no prizes for guessing why).
I stumbled across the FOFBMF and its various alternate histories and I have been very intrigued about the treasure trove which is absolutely brilliant (I am actually doing something similar on Reddit via r/RacingF1ction-hello there Aislabie). I really like the idea of doing my own alternate motorsport seasons, as it is something that has really captivated my interest over the past couple of months. I reckon there is a lot of potential right here and if there is sufficient interest out there I may start doing non-canon alternate histories sometime soon(unified Indycar from 2000,a 2019 Motorcycle World Championship of Nations and a 2020-2021 Formula E Season are a couple of ideas I'm looking at right now. I will probably be running the races with The Racing Scorinator as I've found it to be a great deal more realistic than the dreaded xkoronate.) It's a pleasure to meet you lads and I am very much looking forward to further engaging with you guys and girls! Cheers!

Hello!
I've been a lurker on here for several years now, always meant to register but never actually did. When the site went down last year I thought I'd lost my chance, so with the nice surprise that it's back up I figured it was about time to get around to it.
Been an avid watcher of F1 for many years, though I will admit to preferring Formula E these days.

Long time lurker, first time poster (was gonna register last year but the forum went under and so I thought why not register when it is way to late at night). Anyway, I'm just a long time fan of f1, indycar, and le mans, and I fervently wish that attrition rates in motor racing would return to the levels they where at when I first started watching motorsport back in late 2000.

Hey.
I'm new to this forum. Hope I won't get confused since I know there are lots to follow here haha. Thanks for bringing the forum up and running again.

Thought I'd come along and join in the fun having been a very long time lurker
- known of F1 Rejects for probably at least a decade and really loved the biographies on the former site . Understand it will be difficult to get them back but I'm quite happy with what's come out of it with GP Rejects and there's some very interesting reading material , and I'm glad the forum is up and running again after seemingly being swallowed by 2020!

Hello, everyone!
My name is Alexandra. I was a forum member before, though back then one would have known me as Turbogirl. Heaven knows where my password went and since I've changed internet providers a few years ago, I no longer have access to my old e-mail address. Oh well, sometimes it's best to make a fresh start anyway.
I must have been lurking this amazing forum since 2011 or 2012 (can't really remember anymore) and I finally signed up in early 2014. Needed to leave twice due to serious real-life issues, which have taken me a lot longer to fix than I had anticipated.
So, here I am (again). Now what about me? I'm female, german, and I got roped into watching F1 at the start of the 1995 season by my older brother. What began as an avid following came to an all-time low point when Michael Schumacher retired (the second time) and I haven't watched a single race since Williams faltered.
Favourite F1 drivers: Michael Schumacher and Damon Hill. Favourite F1 teams: Williams, Jordan and Lotus (the original ones). Favourite F1 cars: Williams FW18, McLaren MP4/8, Jordan 197 (love the snakes) and Lotus 49. Favourite race tracks: Nürburging Nordschleife and Old Hockenheim.
Aside from F1, I am a motorsports history enthusiast, especially interested in all things Grand Prix (pre-war era to today), GT racing and female drivers from all around the globe. Since I'm a supporter of women in motorsports, I tend to follow as many series with female involvement as possible. In recent years, that was mostly GT racing, such as ELMS, ADAC GT Masters and a few of the lower formula classes (F3 for Sophia Flörsch springs to mind).
That's all I can think of right now. If you're looking for any new projects of mine, I'm setting up camp in the Black Stig Memorial Forum to catch up on a few things I left unfinished.
See you around!

Hi! I'm GT_Forti1, and you may or may not know me from other forums or YouTube comment sections as GT-341. I love reading what-ifs/alternate histories about things I'm into, such as F1, and I've been lurking around for some time, following some series in the 18M Debut forum. (And I read the writeups from the GP Rejects website too.) If a gap opens up in my schedule, you could possibly see me managing in the Perry McCarthy Memorial Forum. Nice to meet you everyone!
