The track has provided interesting races the last couple of years - who remembers Hamilton's and Mercedes antics last year on the restart -, so everyone is curious to see how things will work out with the new regulations.

It's a third win of the season for Mario here in Hungary going into the half-way point of the season. The defending champion doesn't exactly soar up the standings, but having missed a race earlier in the season, puts himself in the best position of anyone to jump up the ranking when points start getting deducted. There were almost no points awarded in this round for the bonus guesses - in fact, almost all points awarded were given to those who guessed the top six finishers, and let's face it, guessing two Mercs, two Ferraris and two Red Bulls would be in the top 6 is hardly rocket science!

Therefore a relatively low scoring round, or at least one with a large field spread. Championship leader had a middling round, nothing embarrassing and certainly nothing to worry about. However, just like in Spain, Mario puts himself in a brilliant position to challenge again for this year's title.
