Can't believe the season is like literally starting this week. Not really much of an offseason. Anyway, it's time for the 6th season of Predicament Prediction is the year of 2023, taking over from Rob. So yay me?!
Anyhoo, if you've done this before, you know the rules. If not, every race weekend, people will try to predict results of what will happening not only in the race but qualifying and the sprint race if it applies. Like last year, dropped scores will be applied when a participant reaches 18 different scores.
The template as follows:
1. The driver that places in 1st
2. The driver that places in 2nd
...etc.
10. The driver that places in 10th.
Pole: The driver who gets pole position.
Fastest Lap: The driver who gets fastest lap.
First Retirement: The driver who DNFs first. DNS also counts if they have qualified.
Reject of the Race: The driver, person, country or abstract concept who wins the Reject of the Race award on our forum following the race.
Infinite Improbability Drive of the Race: The driver who most exceeds expectations in a positive way during the race.
Deadbeat Teammate of the Race: The driver who is mathematically the furthest behind their teammate in terms of positions when the race is done.
Last Place: the driver who is classified in last place.
Minor League Premiership: Highest placed rookie driver (includes Nyck de Vries even though he's done a race)
Bonus Point - Funniest Alternative Title: Funniest title
Predictions are closed once FP3 is completed. Any predictions posted post-FP3 will be penalised. I'll post a reminder when FP3 starts and when it's done and dusted.
Doubles Points can be used once where naturally all points are doubled. If not used throughout the season, it is automatically used in the last GP.
