Infinite Improbability Drive of the Race - Abou Diaby 2023
Infinite Improbability Drive of the Race - Abou Diaby 2023
1. Yuki Tsunoda. The first Japanese driver to lead a lap on merit since Takuma Sato in 2004.
2. The chequered flag. For ending this wretched awful season at long last.

Yuki: Led race. Was frequently in the top 5 and still finished 8th despite a one-stop strategy from Torro Rosso that may not have been optimal. imo, he's more deserving of a shot at the Red Bull seat than Riccy.

Yuki, Yuki, Yuki - brilliant effort and led the race

Yuki Tsunoda's the obvious choice here, but it's a sign of what crushingly low expectations that I have for this particular track that I'd almost consider nominating this Grand Prix as an option.

Everyone's quite rightfully saying Yuki (heck, maybe he's the one who might replace Checo - not sure he'd want it though ) but I'm also gonna say George - bossed it over teammate all weekend for only his 2nd podium of the year, and full of cold/flu too. And it was him who secured Mercedes's 2nd place. Everyone else around as expected or worse!

Yuki Tsunoda: Good points and a few laps in the race lead. A great conclusion to his season.
Also the Estonian Trident driver Paul de Vries for taking 22nd in the WDC despite no one ever noticing he and his team were part of the sport.

Tsunoda: Actually led a lap on merit and another solid points haul. He was the driving force behind AlphaTauri’s late season burst
Russell: Russell needed a good weekend and result to end what’s been a difficult season on a high and he got it, looked at home all weekend and thoroughly put Hamilton in the shade to score just a 2nd podium of the season

Well this was a rather easy poll to set up, because there was only one real candidate. However, with so few nominations and posts, I shall be fair and add "nobody" as a candidate. 48 hours, get voting!
