Infinite Improbability Drive of the Race - Netherlands 2024

Post by Londoner »

1. Harrison Burton. What a way to get the Wood Brothers' 100th win in NASCAR!

2. Kyle Busch. Finally getting some good runs in that RCR crapbox.

(1) Leclerc for a really solid, measured race, and an unexpected podium

(2) Verstappen (yes really) for a great recovery drive

(3) Norris for his tongue-in-cheek "very lovely" on the cool-down lap

Charles Leclerc, I suppose; I didn't see Ferrari taking a podium this weekend either.

Leclerc - I honestly didn't expect that podium. Fair play.

Honorable mention to Gasly for qualifying ahead of Sainz and Hamilton and easily having the measure of Ocon all weekend.

Also honorable mention to Perez for arguably his best race in months and his best result since Miami. Yes, his season has been that bad.

I'll go Leclerc too.
It's just unbelievable...that Formula 1 could be such a ridiculous melange of idiots.

1. Sunday Schedule - squeezing in the postponed F1 academy race on f1 race day was wonderful to see

2. Lando Norris - for not breaking a porcelain trophy with his champagne slam move
