At least Sakon has some genuine F1 experience, in a low-budget team. He might not be the quickest, but if he has enough money, and Kolles rated his feedback well enough last time he was in F1, then sure why not... I don't think he'll be any quicker than Bruno or Karun, but it's one more opinion, one more guy working on the car, and that can only be good for Hispania (as long as he doesn't crash it!!)...

It's kind of funny now that both Toyota and Honda have pulled out of F1 that there is the one driver making a comeback who drove for both of them, which is very uncommon in Japanese circles. Congrats to Sakon for landing a drive. It may not be the best car on the grid but the former Campos team is living for the present. So he'd better drive that car sooner than later. Who knows from where they'll get their cars next year? It's likely that it won't be Dallara again. Here's hoping they make it to next season. Maybe then, Sakon could also make a comeback as a race driver whilst somebody else moves on to another team.

We all know who needs to be hired next. If teams are hiring Sakon Yamamoto then they surely have to look at HWNSNBM!

HWNSNBM is a legend. Legends doesn't need to come back.

Well, then, I guess Schumi isn't a legend after all.

Surprising news! Good for Sakon that he's still involved with F1 to some extent. I would have preferred it if Nakajima or Sato had landed this position though.

Kolles has now also signed Christian Klien to drive the former Campos machine on Fridays. But how will it affect the performances of regular drivers Chandhok and Senna if they don't get any track time on Fridays?
