German GP race review

Post by eytl »

Hi everyone,

Sorry it has taken so long to upload, but just in time I guess ... an hour before Hungary qualifying.

After a week to reflect on the events at Hockenheim, here are my thoughts: http://www.f1rejects.com/centrale/2010/germany/index.html

Or just click on the link on the main page. Hope you enjoy the read.

Cheers,
Enoch

Well written as always, and considering that you had already stated that Ferrari/Alonso were not going to get ROTR for the team orders furore, I think your choice was the next most popular choice and is a good choice.

Very well put, Enoch. I certainly agree with your opinion as well, even if I won't necessarily repeat myself like watka... :D

seriously though good review as always and the Force was the right choice for ROTR.

If you say the fans’ desire for real sport takes priority, how do you make it happen? One car teams? A control chassis formula which goes against the technical ingenuity F1 also stands for? Or US-style means of increasing entertainment and combat? But then, bear in mind how we often deride American racing for artificially bunching up the field, for ice-age machinery, for allowing drivers to bump others out of the way and yet making insane decisions like punishing Helio Castroneves for blocking at Edmonton last week?

We deride American racing? But they have Milka Duno!

Thanks for a well written and thought provoking review, EYTL. You certainly have come off the boil from your other postings on the subject.
