Kamui returns to his hometown

Post by eytl »

Taking advantage of the mid-season break, on Tuesday Kamui Kobayashi returned to his hometown, Amagasaki in Japan.

Check out this set of photos to get a glimpse of the fandemonium ... or, should I say, Kobayashimania!

I like this picture in particular ... clearly the Cowboy can get people of all ages excited ...

Japanese people with cameras??? Pah, I'm used to it in London. That said Kobayashimania is set to take over the world, and increase the export of his family's sushi in the process. Good for him.

It's the old joke about someone "steaming" a train full of Japanese tourists.

"Police have 3 billion photographs of the suspect."

They do like their Motor Racing heroes in Japan. :)

Yep in that very first race. I hadn't even joined Rejects then, so thought no one else had noticed. :)

Assuming, of course, that you've discounted a certain Captain from those numbers...
