It's pretty likely the article was written by an intern who never bothered to check his facts, and why would they, only the nutjobs at F1Rejects would do such a thing!

Yes, Petrov started his career racing Ladas, and from what I heard he was like Michael Schumacher in them.

This must be one of those crappy racing school cars, that are equipped with a horribly underpowered and soundless engine, and built from old spare parts. But certainly Vlad's chariot is a R24.

I think you're right. The shape of the nose, front wing, engine cover and engine air intake do seem to match the Prost.
