No. But I hoped for improvement from the team.
So if anyone interested in signing me up (one-car teams expanding to two cars), I'd join as #2!

JLD (soon to be MRT) is interested in your services.

Douglas Mann also sympathises with his sister for missing out on a points finish in such a crazy race where anything could have happened.

Douglas Mann and I were tied last season with 8 points, but he had a 4th, and I had a 5th. I scored a 4th this season so far but no other pointscoring result.

Sammy Jones wrote:In answer to a couple of questions, yes this is my second DNF from two races at Spa, but remember I'm performing both driver and team principal roles, and as a result, new updates to the car and the Renault engine are going firstly to Chris, not only because he currently sits third in the standings, but because he is vastly more experienced than myself, and his superb second at the Ring more than justifies that approach. For myself, improvement will come in time. I've already proven myself in the F1RWRS last year when I creamed all over Douglas Mann in that bucket of bolts that was the West Cliff's car. As far as I'm concerned, my (soon to be!) F1 statistics count for much more than this. I'm here to have fun, and when I feel the time is right, I'll switch out of the car and go into full time team ownership. Whether that's at the end of this year, the next or further into the future I can't say. First of all I want to enjoy this season and perform as best I can for the RubberTex-Jones Racing Team.

Douglas Mann apologises for any offense that he may have caused Sammy Jones by comparing him to Dave Walker and hopes that his season improves by scoring some points and proving that analogy wrong!

So any spot for '19 year old' Jeroen Krautmeir from Mainz?

Autosport wrote:Krautmeir to drive for JLD for rest of 2011

19 year old German Jeroen Krautmeir earlier today was confirmed as JLD's 2nd drive from Silverstone onwards as BMW are set to increase their involvement in the team. A few months ago Melrose Racing Team confirmed that they would buy the JLD team from Mercedes Benz and Porsche and will run under the MRT banner from 2012 onwards. The team is in association with Australian Daniel Melrose's former employers BMW who will be providing all the internals for the 2012 car along with technical support for designing and manufacturing the MRT-001 at BMW's facilities at Munich. The signing of Krautmeir who allegedly was suggested by Daniel Melrose himself has made the deal between MRT and BMW all the more convenient as Krautmeir has come off the back of finishing runner-up in the Formula Renault 2.0 series. Krautmeir is also a former championship winner in the Formula BMW series in Germany. Neither Melrose, Krautmeir or BMW's Mario Thiesson were avaliable for comment.

RubberTex-Jones Racing are interested in your services Mori-san, though that depends on whether the rules allow a team to field more than two drivers! What do you reckon TMLW? Is a three driver team okay?
