Bourdais reject page
How long before we get a Sebastian Bourdais F1 Reject page?
Including a section of his excuses would be stellar.

Always nice to hear this obscure Beatles gem in any context!
Re: Bourdais reject page
Very long time. Bourdais simply gets in line. How many recent drivers are waiting for a Reject profile? Yuji Ide, Friesacher, Albers, Sakon Yamamoto, Montagny, Bruni, HWNSNBM...
There's probably more I'm forgetting.

Re: Bourdais reject page
And who knows, maybe he will get a drive next season (even if I doubt it...)
Re: Bourdais reject page
I read on some forums that Ferrari should consider him to replace Massa, as he has a lot of mileage in 2009 cars, unlike any other free driver. So if that happens, and he manages to get himself out of reject status in 6 races with a relatively competitive Ferrari, then a profile wouldn't be necessary.
What are the odds of that though? Domenicali would need to be really stoned.

Re: Bourdais reject page
yes, i think Badoer has more chance of removing himself from Reject Status than Bourdais, in the 2009 Ferrari at least.

Yeap, he's a reject material.. actually there are even more candidates this season: Piquet, Nakajima... ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)

Much as Piquet deserves a reject page, he did finish 2nd in Germany, making him not reject material.

A Lucky Bastard medal if ever one was deserved. Saved by the safety car, of all things.
Nissanymania! Friday has never been the same since.

Re: Bourdais reject page
We could always say that, with the 2008 Safety Car regulations, a lot of reject drivers would have escaped rejectdom
Piquet definitely has to replace Andretti in the top one of "You Lucky Bastard". But with those regulations dropped, and with a car good enough to score big points in 2009 and even some races of 2008, Nakajima is perfect reject material.

Re: Bourdais reject page
Well, Nelson scored 4th in Fuji so it wasn't all because of Hockenheim. Unless he would have been sacked last year without that Hockenheim result.

See, I actually liked those safety car rules because they actually seemed more fair to me.

Copied from Wikipedia though, I think most of them were from Indy. Why did they count it? It's messed up records ever since.
