The IRL is a bastion for some of the greatest ideas in racing, however, Tony George's idea about cloning drivers (check the number of duplicate drivers!) didn't go so well on race day...

Or...

When Takuma Sato entered the IRL, many computer simulations were done to predict his performances. Most of them (accurately) depicted the scene above.

Or...

Americans do everything better. Closer racing, more interesting drivers, more passing on the racetrack, and they can even top Europe's biggest open wheel crash in (recent?) memory with little effort.

Or...

The IRL once tried reverse grid races in a simulator, but after seeing the chaos caused by Milk and Donuts and Takuma Sato starting on the front row, they (not so surprisingly) rejected this idea.
