Well, I think there are spots left at Jack Daniel's Racing, Paul Morris Motorsport, Mother Racing, Kelly Racing, Centaur Racing & Fair Dinkum Racing (we don't have enough numbers for two car teams yet, do we?)

I will be starting this on Friday afternoon (Australian time), so if you haven't yet joined the game, please do so before the cutoff.
You'll have to pick another team as europeanminardi has already joined Wilson Security Racing.

I was looking only at the game about free spots and I took car which was listed for other driver in the list here. Happened to be my old team-mate from F1 seasons. Sorry.

As all the Ford teams have been taken, I'll be opening the second car slot for any Ford team if you want to enter but you do not want to even contemplate entering in a certain type of car with a red lion badge on the front.
This is a cool spot.

Ipswich 1: Daniel Melrose (For going from 2nd on the grid to a frankly rubbish 14th.)

Re: BATracer
Seems odd to have three ROTR so I suggest that we whittle them down to one going by the most reject worthy reject. Personally I would go for
Abu Dhabi 1: James Clark for his awful qualifying performance and going off on the 2nd to last lap takes reject skill
Abu Dhabi 2: Daniel Melrose for blowing pole position in a big way and not looking like doing anything
Bahrain 1: Craig Collie for not wanting to really get out of last place
Hamilton 2: Bari Mori for looking fairly competitive before crashing having to come into the pits, spending most of the race in last place, overtaking a few cars then unlapping himself before crashing out. I am sure that could be ROTY...

I wouldn't be so sure. Right now a certain T. De Bock is favourite for ROTY for doing absolutely nothing all season so far.

Oh, come on!
I was soooo close to getting a podium if it weren't for my pitcrew costing me 13 seconds in a bunched up field!

Re: BATracer
Thought I would show the tables using the majority of point scoring systems used in F1 as the silly V8s score no points if you retire but you still get a stack of points for rolling in 13th place.
The biggest winner in this is me, gaining 5 to 6 places with Hurmerinta and Capp making up a few places too. The biggest loser (no surprise...) is De Bock who is last in every table and scores a big fat 0 in the 1950s point system with Melrose and Clarke also losing positions... I might do an alternative, who is Schnyder? table if he doesn't stop winning...

IIDOTR:
Abu Dhabi 1: Barry Mori (For a brilliant burn from the stern effort to finish 3rd, even though from pole he should have won.)
Abu Dhabi 2: Liam Capp (For a good burn from the stern effort to go from dead last to 7th.)
Bahrain 1: Brodie Steen (For going from 11th to 2nd.)
Bahrain 2: Benedict Schynder (For fighting his way through the field from 13th on the grid to 3rd.)
Adelaide 1: Tristan Jung (For going from a first lap collision to a top 5 finish.)
Adelaide 2: Eero Hurmerinta (For coming back from a shocking start to score 2nd on the podium.)
Hamilton 1: Scott Maser (For going from 14th on the grid to 3rd.)
Hamilton 2: Jeroen Krautmeir (For going from 10th to 1st in wet conditions.)
Ipswich 1: Jeroen Krautmeir (For going from dead last to 2nd, again in the rain.)
Ipswich 2: Barry Mori (For going from outside the top 10 to winning the race.)
Winton 1: Craig Collie (Was genuinly competitve, kept it on the road and scored a podium as a result)
Winton 2: Daniel Melrose (Makes good start and was in contention for victory before brake problems relegates him to 3rd)
Darwin 1: Eero Hurmerinta (Scores shock victory in the Top End)
Darwin 2: Thomas De Bock (For finishing in the top 5 for the first time all season)
Townsville 1: Scott Maser (Never say die drive from 13th on the grid to 7th including 2 last lap passes to keep in touch with Schnyder)
Townsville 2: Thomas De Bock (Scores unlikely podium)
Phillip Island Qualifying Race: Jeroen Krautmeir (Makes way from the back of the gird to 5th in 14 lap race)
Phillip Island Main Race: Barry Mori (Wins the 500 after being 14th at the end of lap 1)
Bathurst: Craig Collie (Was fast all weekend and didn't put it into the nearest wall for once which gave him victory)

Re: BATracer
Alternative Championship using the F1 Rejects favourite 1991 (10,6,4,3,2,1) Point System.
Results to the 2nd Surfers Paradise race.
Number in brackets are positions lost or gained over the official table as V8s score points for pootling around in 14th. Biggest winner is Krautmeir who goes from 12th to 5th and Collie whoses wins take him from 10th to 4th. Biggest losers are Capp, who drops 5 places from 7th to 12th and De Bock who pottling around near the back has gained him points but in the F1 system he loses 4 place to drop from 9th to 13th. Other losers are Jung, Clarke and Davies who drop 3 places in the F1 table.
With 4 races to go and 40 points up for grabs, Maser can secure the alternative title by getting 8 points, although it is unlikely that Schnyder will win 4 races in a row (or at a minimum 3 wins and a 2nd place). The battles are really for 2nd between Schnyder and Mori and 4th to 13th with every other driver and with Prieto and Lon battling it out for last place....

Re: BATracer
Updated the table, with Maser on pole and Schnyder so far back after his rain tyre gamble did not pay off it does look like maser has sown it up, so the battle is for 2nd and the other minor places.

F1 Rejects Forums BATracer alternative championship using F1 Rejects favourite F1 points system from 1991...
No scoring points for trundling around in 13th place here....
Well Maser is crowned champion with 3 races to go, but runner up spot is a fight between Schynder, Mori and Collie the only other drivers with more then one win to their name. Jang and Krautmeir will be hoping for some good runs to try and get 3rd.
The format above is Position, difference from the V8 championship, Name, Points, Results (top six finishes only) and positions mathmatically they can finish in...

I've previously decided that every third season we will use a carset different to the latest GP set (currently GP 2010), so for season 4 we will be using GP 2010 or, if it comes out before the start of the season, GP 2011.
This is a cool spot.

In that case I won't be competing in season 4, since I go on holidays for a month starting in about three weeks.
