The [Insert Appropriate Name Here] Principle
Any driver who performs unexpectedly well in a race, given their normal circumstances, will fall victim to an accident or failure during the course of the next race. An extension of Murphy's Law.
Thoughts?
Well, I can already think of two examples that may confirm this theory, both involving Force India:
-Giancarlo Fisichella taking pole and second place in the race at Spa 2009, followed by his disastrous race at Monza for Ferrari.
-Adrian Sutil taking a front row starting place and 4th overall in Monza 2009 before having a sheer moment of brain fade at Singapore, ending Heidfeld's finishing streak.
