I know this! It kind of follows this guidelines:

- Complaining;
- Complaining about new gadgets;
- Complaining about general stuff;
- Participating in FIA safety related events;
- Promoting road safety;
- Complaining somewhat;
- Establishing a verbal racing code between member drivers;
- Complaining about non complaining duties that they may have;
- It is the official organization F1 drivers use to voice concerns (and complains) to FIA;
- Being ignored by FIA.

That would be Stefan Bellof and Ayrton Senna along with Martin Brundle (not pictured) testing a McLaren. It was near the end of 83 in Silverstone. Senna went faster than Watson out of the box and it seems Bellof broke the gearbox before Brundle could've tried the car. Senna did a 1.13,9 using a more powerful version of the DFV than Bellof and Brundle versions (this was their first test while Senna had already tested for Williams). Bellof did a 1.14.6 and Brundle a 1.14.7.

That is Ayrton Senna at the F1 test the McLaren team held on 28th October 1983 at Silverstone, just two days after the end of the British F3 championship as a part of the prize, thanks to Marlboro. The thing I remember that really strikes me about that was I remember a programme which was on BBC around New Years Day 1995 (or a day or two after) to talk about the Life of Senna, and Martin Brundle talked about that McLaren test and it felt really sad when he said he was the only one of the three from the test who remained.......

I like Bellof's helmet.

People forget behind Senna's 2nd place at Monaco in the Toleman, Bellof finished 3rd in the same race, in a Tyrrell, and was catching them slowly (I know the ywere later DSQ) Dont remember him racing, but they say he had a lot of potential, and if he lived could have been Germany first f1 champion.

He holds the lap record for the sports car course, although it must be pointed out that 1983 was, I believe, the last time that the World Sportscar Championship used the Nordschliefe and not the modern Nurburgring. Yes, he was negotiating with Ferrari over a deal for 1986, but from 1986 onwards Ferrari struggled to beat McLaren and Williams; perhaps a podium or a lucky win might have been possible, but championships? Hard to say.

I'm obviously going to be very biased. Afterall, he is my favourite driver...

TNA Impact? It got to be Juan Montoya! He got into a feud and helped someone to defeat someone I guess (some standard guest appearance stuff).

It was Bellof's fault in a way...Ickx was ahead of him, and Bellof just attempted to overtake too early.

It was lead shot in a water tank used for the water injection system (basically, a small amount of water would be injected into the engine cylinders to cool the fuel air mixture, preventing premature detonation and allowing you to run a higher compression ratio). So, yes, even if the race had gone the full distance, Bellof would have been disqualified anyway, making his victory redundant; besides, there would have been the additional challenge of passing Senna, who would probably have put up a very fierce fight.

Anyway, as a diversion from this topic, how about a question? Vettel is now well known for naming his cars after the press saw the name labels on his car (from Kate onwards), although this is something that Vettel has done throughout his career, being a fairly superstitious driver.
