Ok, I propose the following Pay Driver Ruling (since running Pay Drivers would give the team using them an advantage, there must also be a drawback).
** Pay Drivers will pay 20 credits per race/per driver - They can be used as much as wanted/needed.
** Pay Drivers will have a random performance value between 13000 and 14500 (so they may be faster than the racing driver!) and a worse than usual Consitency Value.
** Money can´t be invested in Pay Drivers; their Performance Values are locked.
** Money will be available only at the end of a 4 Grand Prix stint. Say you use 1 pay driver at race #1, and 2 pay drivers at race #2. The team will receive the money at the end of Race #4.
** As usual, a change of driver must be noticed before Qualifying begins (that is, before the Post for a race is created by me) and it must be clearly stated who´s a Pay Driver and who´s not.

Good. It gives me a week to fix Grand Prix 4. (The wretched thing kept crashing every time I tried doing a qualy run at Hockenheim).
Also Dean O'Lauchlan is a pay driver on the basis of all his sponsors from the US.

Before I forget I need to speak to both Dartanian and Wookey to figure out our development plan for this season. Also if it's alright with Aerond MRT is selling the rebadged Yamaha engines to Horizon for 300 credits instead of Horizon buying them direct from the manufacturer for 250 which means both teams will be left with 100 credits each before the start of the season

This is too bloody complicated, so Precision Motorsports are pulling out of F1RWRS. Sorry Damon, unless you want to buy the team for 1 pound.

In that case, Damon Cannon will join his friend Richie White as second drive for Shock Of The Lightning. Of course, the question is now, what does the future hold for Jeroen Krautmier in the F1RWRS?

Re: F1RWRS - A computerised F1Reject series
Just to make my position clear, I'm only willing to partake in this as a driver. The fun for me in F1RWRS was building up a persona as a driver rather than managing my own team. I think that shows by the fact that I've driven for 5 teams! Recently I've only had the chance to get on the forums once or twice a week and half of the time I come back to this thread to see that another 3-5 pages have been added since I was last on, so I've got no chance of running a team. True, I am in the F1RPG, but the organiser did make it incredibly easy by e-mailing us the forms (so I don't even have to go on the forum to be up to date; I check my e-mails most days). I am more than willing to stick around as a driver here though and throw out the odd soundbite.

Updated entry list for Suzuka. With Precision pulling out of the series Cannon is left without a drive for the race which means Resi Respati is given entry number 22 for the race once I get GP4 working again.

Here it´s the template if you want to paint your own car for Gp2!!
It´s not mandatory by any means, just for those who want to do it; if you don´t feel like painting your car I suggest either
a) Go here: http://www.grandprix2.de/cars.html, choose any car you like and give me the download link
b) If you don´t choose one, I´ll use the template of the chassis you look (so, for example, if you chose the Andrea Moda, your car in-game will look like the Andrea Moda).
This is important as there´s going to be pics or video footage from the races
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=7Y6PM1U8
Now, what to do with the BMP? Read these instructions!
- IMPORTANT, for some reason, .Bmp files saved under photoshop, Paint.NET and others don´t work Ok with the GP2 Editor. To correctly code your file; just paint your car in whatever editor you want to; then Open the blank template too under MS Paint, copy/paste your edited template over the one opened under paint and Save.
Here´s two examples if you want to figure out how to use the template:
1992 Williams
1992 Benetton
Here´s also a helmet template (use the same technique to save as for the cars)
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PIOMWBP9

Re: F1RWRS - A computerised F1Reject series
Virgin Inter Corse penetrates new markets with F1RWRS campaign
Virgin Inter Corse is proud their entry to the F1RWRS - despite not having a f***ing clue what the initials of the series title even stand for.
"I am very happy to announce Virgin Inter Corse will be expanding their portfolio with, er...whatever this is," said Team Principal Alasdair Lindsay. "We are seeing new upward growth in key areas, and we believe expanding into this new territory will immensely benefit our future."
With Lindsay spouting nothing but publicocrap, it was down to the team's driver pairing of Todd Cockburn and Phil McCracken to do the real talking when it comes to the season ahead.
"It will be an interesting season," said Cockburn. "This is a new challenge for me, I hope I can succeed from the very start."
However, all parties involved admitted car development had been an issue, as Lindsay explains; "Testing has been a mixed bag so far for us. We are testing a KERS system with the car yesterday, but there are some teething problems with it. The KERS system tries to start too early and it is causing the car to jump start at grid simulations. It does not matter what we do, it always tries to surge forward too quickly and no matter how many runs we do, we cannot fix this problem.
It has also given the secondary problem of too much load [on the tyres] at once. The tyres have no grip, so all that happens is the car hardly moves and always leaves behind a massive skidmark. So much of it has been laid down at the pit exit now it's like walking through treacle - it's incredibly sticky down there."
Cockburn elaborated further on some of the troubles the new car is having; "The car is very inconsistent in both speed and handling. It is hard to get into a good rhythm going, every lap the car reacts differently even if you handle it the same way and take the same lines and angles through the bends. It's very frustrating, no matter how hard I try it just can't get it to do what I want."
"It has been the same experience for me," commented fellow rookie McCracken. "OK, so it has been very hard so far, but I think with time we can rectify the worst problems before our debut. We must stay positive; the only way is up."

I'll fix the Qantas logo once I finish choosing a Shell livery for my other team (Don't really feel like painting one from scratch for it considering how labour-intensive it is just to do one of these things).

SUZUKA CHARITY RACE

SUZUKA CAHRITY RACE
Race: 51 Laps
Not much to report as Sammy Jones leappfrogged Douglas Mann at the second stops and that was as far as the race for the win was concerned. Elsewhere Respati and Dagnall proved their worth in 3rd and 4th while Pippa Mann got involved in a collision with De Bock and others which put here in the gravel trap at the Casino Triangle on lap 1 and out of the race.
Results:
1. S. Jones (Horizon): 1h 25m 38.046
2. D. Mann (Foxdale): +3.721
3. R. Respati (Flying Fish): +4.887
4. M. Dagnall (Dagnall Engineering): +8.361
5. R. Davies (HRT): +12.361
6. F. Zimmer (Horizon): +14.833
7. P. McAllister (Team Phoenix): +18.379
8. A. Watkinson (HRT): +20.878
9. T. De Bock (Gillet): +21.452
10. K. Lon (Kamaha): +23.392
11. H. Shizuka (Infiniti): +25.158
12. D. Simpson (Minardi): +30.008
13. A. Moll (Gillet): +31.682
14. T. Jung (Trueba): +34.693
15. S. Katayama (Infiniti): +37.273
16. P. Nicolas (MRT): +38.601
17. J. Kekkonen (Arrowtech): +41.053
18. D. Martins (Arrowtech): +41.715
19. B. Mori (Kamaha): +43.424
20. G. Roda (Trueba): +45.709
DNF. N. Spencer (MRT): Transmission
DNF. P. Mann (Foxdale): Collision
Pole: D. Mann (Foxdale): 1:37.930
Fastest Lap: D. Mann (Foxdale): 1:39.088
Leaders:
D. Mann: 1-17, 21-34 (Total: 31)
S. Jones: 18, 35, 38-51 (Total: 16)
R. Respati: 19, 36-37 (Total: 3)
M. Dagnall: 20 (Total: 1)
Before you ask yes the race was as mind-numbingly dull as I portrayed it to be in the summary.

A rather good race, innit? Hope the japanese chaps have enjoyed a good espectacle, but it´ll be more serious next time around!
Tread lightly in ARWS. Every decision might be your last.

Well done, Sammy, thorougly earned, but I'm not sure if Barii Mori will be too happy about that I'm very happy with how the car has performed. We can still improve, but we've definately hit the ground running...just like that crazy Russian guy at Malaysia
