Speaking of underperforming Chris Dagnall is being absolutely thrashed by his son Mark in the Dagnall Engineering squad.

How many tokens does ArrowTech have? And do drivers have tokens as well?

Arrowtech has 125 right now. You distribute them anyway you want between the car and the drivers. I remind you that when you invest in your car, you´ll loose what you invested if you switch to another chassis or engine in the future, while improvements on drivers are permanent.

Combined team times, we can see that Foxdale will be the team to beat and people will be asking question on why CR do not have to prequalify as they are so far off the pace that they would struggle to get a decent qualification time in F3000. From this we can see that American Racing (ARC), Flying Fish, Fat Turbo Racing and probably Calinetic should all get through prequalifying easily. However Horizon, Intercorse, SOTL and Trueba will struggle.

With the combined driver times we can see which team mates are close and which are driving in the wrong series. (In format Driver who is slowest, time off pace of team mate and team mate).
Despite being so far off the pace, team mates Darren Older Jr and Andrea Massini are close with Darren Older Jr being only 2 tenths off. The Manns are very close too (with Pippa Mann surprisingly the slowest of the two). At the other end Frank Zimmer is much much faster then team mate Dean O'Lauchlan, although Mori, de Bock and White are over 3 seconds off the pace. A surprise is that 5 team mates are very close and the rest are over 2 seconds off the pace.

As a note, Zimmer is only 4 places in front of O'Lauchlan in the combined times, so the team are way off the pace. The biggest position gap is between Kay Lon and Barii Mori who are 9th and 28th or 19 places different, followed by Moll and de Bock (3rd and 19th, 16 places off), Hiang Hao and Respati (7th and 23rd, 16 places off) and Davies and Watkinson (8th and 24th, also 16 places off).

American Racing Conglomerate will buy two upgrades:
Both Colin Pratchett and Jesus Plaza will receive race performance upgrades. Colin Pratchett will also receive a race consistency bonus. Also, James Davies can be our test driver if he wishes.

Well, as Foxdale and both of the Mann siblings are still rather strong at the moment, I shall hold back on using any of the credits, hoping that being able to have some development later in the season might come good.

Re: F1RWRS - A computerised F1Reject series
Melrose Racing Team will not be spending any credits on this season since the starting point is so horrendously bad it's beyond belief and any possible recovery. And now, a press release:
Daniel Melrose wrote:To be honest I'm not quite sure what brought me back to the grid for one "last hurrah" or possibly even more. Being only 27 years old means I've got alot of time ahead of me to finally crack the one series I haven't been able to win thus far. So far the ArrowTech seems to be an effective enough machine for minor points finishes and the occasional podium. As to MRT's problems I would rather not comment on them as I'll probably end up using some very elaborate English, if you know what I mean.
Willy Rampf, MRT Techical Director wrote:The chassis has got enough grip as both Nathaniel and Phillipe were posting respectable times in sector 2 at Kyalami. However the engine is simply gutless and as a result we are miles off the pace. With the way the pre-qualifying draw has worked out we're pretty much set to qualify for the first half of the season. From that point we simply have to score some points finishes to make sure we stay in that important top 11 for the second half of the year. However if that doesn't happen then I'm fairly certain that we will be awarded the "Reject of the Year" award by this website called F1 Rejects dot com which Melrose seems to be so fascinated by.
Mario Theissen wrote:I was on the phone to Melrose after the test at Brands Hatch and to say he was unimpressed was an understatement. He gave us specific orders to work on a new engine for the 2014 season and simply forget about updating the engine as far as the works team is concerned. Horizon Motorsports may get some developmental parts during the second half of the year however as part of the program to get the new engine online.

Maybe I shouldn´t be saying this but... Are you sure you wanna do that?? I mean, the car is so crap (and rather limited in how far you can go with it) I would spend it on one of the drivers instead, as that driver will keep those stats forever, so you can have one good driver which can lead CR to better things in future years or you can even sell that driver to another team and have CR as a driver factory.

Well, the car seems good enough not to fall into pre-qualifying, so I won't use any car credits. Moll also seems on the pace, so I'll probably only use my points on De Bock,v which I won't do until I've figured out where the problem lies (that is, somewhere before rounds 3 or 4).

The only way to get credits mid-season is to use a pay driver (which gives you 20 credits per race, but credits can´t be invested in that pay driver, plus a pay driver has its stats locked and are random). Otherwise you have to wait until the end of the season, when you get credits based on your results.

I was updating and I realised this; even if Nicolas Steele and Jari Kekkonen are your drivers, you can´t distribute those points on them; as credits distribution are to be distributed only by team owners (to avoid me going mad basically). So Arrowtech credits are to be distributed: A) On your car, B) On your team drivers (Melrose and Martins).
The way to go for Steele and Kekkonen would be talking to their respective Team Owners (TML for Steele as he drives for Calinetic and Phoenix for Kekkonen as he drives for Phoenix) and ask if you can use some of their allocated credits in your drivers.
As for now, I´ll input those 20 credits in Melrose and Martins, 10 each.
Tread lightly in ARWS. Every decision might be your last.

RACE
The race starts without much hassle, with few position changes among the top 10; however, when cars approach the end of the Brabham straight at the back of the pack, Nathaniel Spencer almost stops and then Ashley Watkinson rams his back, with Kay Lon and Jari Kekkonen involved as well and all four out of the race.
![Image](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v248/Aerond/Gp2/F1RWRS2013/01_Adelaide/01_L1.jpg)
On lap 3, Phillipe Nicolas spins and crashes the wall while trying to recover, putting the end to a terrible weekend for MRT. Shizuka passes Pippa Mann for 6th.
Next lap, Pippa Mann suffers a problem and retires... at the same time as Douglas Mann; meaning both Foxdale cars are out of the race too soon. Katayama gets the lead. On lap 8 debutant Jesus Plaza, running amazingly on 6th position, spins at the last corner and is back 19th and last and with a Front Wing bill to pay by his team.
On lap 10, Barii Mori and Dave McFaste tangle at last corner when Mori tries to avoid McFaste stopping car. Respati is out 4 laps later and not much happens until lap 18 when Chris Dagnall enters for his first stop, unveiling his 3 stop strategy. Next lap Moll and Katayama pit while McAllister and Plaza are out of the race.

On lap 22 Chris Dagnall spins and returns 6th, while Katayama reaches Mark Dagnall on fresher tyres, while the young Dagnall will make it on 2 stops. Dagnall finally stops on lap 28, while Moll passes Shizuka before her pit-stop. Mark Dagnall manages to keep the 2nd position while Chris Dagnall climbs to 4th when Hiang Hao stops as well. Two laps later Pratchett retires.

On lap 37 De Bocks spins and crashes and is out of the race, leaving Moll as the only Gillet on track. Two laps later Katayama retires when he seemed to have the win assured! Mark Dagnall gets the lead. On lap 46 Hao retires after spinning out. Mark Dagnall has to do an extra stop with throttle problems and Chris Dagnall gets the lead. Then Al Faisal retires.
Race situation at lap 50:
![Image](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v248/Aerond/Gp2/F1RWRS2013/01_Adelaide/01_L50.jpg)
On lap 52 Shizuka spins and falls to 8th, losing every chance to score points. Afterwards Mark Dagnall stops for the last time. Keeping the lead when Chris Dagnall goes in for his 3rd stop. Chris then chases Mark for the win but after a failed overtake on lap 73 quietly stays 2nd behind his son for a Dagnall 1-2! Moll has problems with the throttle 3 laps to the end but keeps 3rd position.

We are happy with our qualifying, although the reigning F1RWRS champion wishes she could have done a little bit better. However, her congratulations go to Shinobu Katayama on her wonderful performance today. Pippa hopes to battle well with her tomorrow for a podium position.

We´re quite happy with the result today. The car looks pretty solid and we´ll be able to fight for podium if things come right. Mann and Katayama seem a little bit out of reach so we have to concentrate on getting the job done and bring home a couple of valuable points

Shinobu Katayama wrote:Oh wow, 2nd is fantastic, although I did make a few mistakes and could have gone faster. I just hope me and Douglas [Mann] do not take each other out at the first corner. My team mate is sulking a little, I think he is upset that a junior and female team mate was faster them him, but I am learning a lot from him and am glad he is in the team. I like to thank Nissan and the team for such a good car and I hope I can get a podium.

Kay seemed to make a mistake and could only do one run but with the CR cars being useless then everyone is going to qualify, well the prequalifiers who are much faster then CR will not and I am sure they are fuming! As for tomorrow, I will be happy to get a point or two
BTW, what points system are we using? The old one or the 2010 F1 system or something else? If the old one then can you list the points and bonuses.
