Possible new teams? Liveries!
With the possible arrival of new teams in F1 to replace poor Virgin and HRT, thought I'd paint some new possible liveries
Starting with everybody's favourite:
STEFAN GP
...and everybody's second favourite:
USF1
as all football fans will know, a strictly local effort: EPSILON EUSKADI
Hey, let's paint a livery that reminds everyone of our glorious recent past in F1!
LOLA
According to the recent fashion of exploiting classic colour schemes...
PRODRIVE-ASTON MARTIN
One Austrian team is not enough, is it?
SUPERFUND GP
Touring Car greats enter F1 with this livery
N-TECHNOLOGY
Ex GP2 Team enters F1 with a floreal livery
This livery actually includes two teams in one...
LITESPEED-ATS
Starting with everybody's favourite:

This is simply awesome. Which template are you using?

Erm, in the image itself, it says, "template by andyblackmoredesign.com".

Whoops! I had a bad day, so I guess I wasn't really paying attention.

Re: Possible new teams? Liveries!
For those of you who don't look at the Perry McCarthy forum and so haven't seen what I've done on my latest Microprose Grand Prix forum, I will repost a few of those I made for that thread. I used the template from the Formula Nations thread, which was a modified and simplified Dallara GP2/08, then made a few minor tweaks myself. I went for that one because of the sharp, un-antialiased outlines, which made it very easy to colour.
This was based on a mock-up design I found floating around on the Stefan GP blog, plus some Serbian sponsors.
Need I say more?
Based, fairly obviously, on the 1997 Mastercard Lola. Give them a second shot!
So does mine.

Re: Possible new teams? Liveries!
That second-last one in the first post of the thread looks like the 1992 Brabham!!
"Poor old Warwick takes it from behind all throughout this season". (Tony Jardine, 1988)

Dodge building a formula one engine? Good one!
Oh, and it would be Twitter and Burger King, not Facebook...
Also, I noticed we're using a Gp2 template, if I am not mistaken?
Anyways, I thought since people think that a whole country can be represented in F1 by a team, which makes sense, I was thinking... Vietnam Gran Prix Racing Team! ...livery later...

I believe in German BARawnda-Tyrrell-Simca(and it's working)

An all-American engine for an all-American team. It makes sense.

Like I said, I'm using the Dallara GP2/08, modified and slightly de-winged; no idea what the actual car is that Luca's using, or if Andy Blackmore just designed it by himself and it's not actually an existing car. I looked to see if it's the GP2/05, and it isn't.

About Epsilon Euskadi, I always think also Euskaltel Euskadi, the cycling team based in Basque Country. Orange jerseys.

that all depends on whether they know what f1 is.

Oh, ye who forget the legacy of Dan Gurney and the Eagle...
Designed this for someone who used to race in an NR2003 league I run every Friday. It looks like something that I could imagine Toro Rosso doing at some point...
Mod is the V8 Indycar series, which is loosely based off of the 1999-2000 Indy Racing League car.
Based off of one of Robby Gordon's 1999 Champ Cars (the Swift). Would be awesome on an actual F1 car... and yes, this is my car (it used to be my avatar).
Cars rendered at Ten0r's Render Shop.

Here's my effort for Epsilon Euskadi, using that cycling colour template.
Re: Possible new teams? Liveries!
Hate to be an idiot, but where are people getting the template? I've looked everywhere on that website and couldn't find it.

If you're talking about Andy Blackmore's template, I couldn't find it either.
