Re: trivia question....
1) Who was Bryan Herta defending from when he spun off at the 1998 Road America CART race?
2) Who did he slide into when defending from said person?
3) Who then nearly beheaded Herta in a Liuzzi/Schumacher-esque accident, just as Herta was about to exit the car?
4) Who lost his tyre on the very last lap, and what position was he in?
5) Name the two drivers who ended up in the gravel at the beginning of the race.

I haven't seen the video of it in a long time but even I know it was Bobby Rahal.

I also haven't seen that race for a long time, but I think the answer to one of the two above questions is Micheal Andretti?

Re: trivia question....
Here's one (or more accuratly two into one):
How much did KV Racing spend on fixing and replacing damaged cars last year? And as an extension of that how much is E.J Viso's sponsorship reported to be worth per year?

What do Kimi Raikkonen, Timo Glock, Jenson Button and Paul di Resta have in common? (Apart from they are F1 drivers!!!)
Im only going back since 2000. There can be more though.

Miserable Thierry (Boutsen) staggers round mostly on ten cylinders (out of 12) with no clutch, low oil pressure, bad brakes and no grip to finish tenth, 3 laps down...

Thats a point these days!

If you hadn't included Jenson Button, I would have gone with points on debut... so I'll go with the fact that all their names begin with a consonant. ![Mr. Green ](./images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif)

I think I've cracked it. Did they all score their 1st points as a result of a driver in front of them being disqualified?

TOO Good,
Raikkonen finished 6th, as Panis was demoted to 7th from 4th for overtaking under yellow flags (on memory) in Australia 2001
Glock finished 7th??? as Williams and Toyota were both DSQ in Canada for illegal brake ducts 2004
Button finished 6th in Brazil 2000 as Coulthard was DSQ for illegal front wing
di Resta promoted to 9th as Perez and Kobayashi were DSQ for illergal rear wing.
Also, can mention Ricardo Zonta finished 6th in Australia 2000 as Salo was DSQ for illegal front wing.

Here's one:
Out of all the current drivers on the grid, who has the highest proportion of points finishes vs race starts in their career thus far?

Hmm, an interesting one, the obvious candidates would be Vettel, Hamilton and Schumacher, but then there's Di Resta to consider ...
I'm going for Hamilton, as he's probably only been out of the points about 10 to 12 times in the 4-and-a-bit years he's been going.

It is Hamilton... by 0.2% over Schumacher

Well, why could José Froilán González be considered a "stain" on the otherwise "beautiful" 1952 Formula One season?

Would it have something to do with his joint fastest-lap with Ascari in Italy?

Re: trivia question....
Probably something to do with all his 6.5 points coming in his only start that season.

Because if it was not for him Ferrari would've scored 1-2's in every race that season (Indianapolis not withstanding).

There we go. If González had not interfered, every pole, every FLAP and every race win would have been in Italian hand (ignoring the Indy 500, which still fits somehow because everything there was American).

If memory serves....he didn't take Pole all season....made the front row 3or 4 times........(then 3 cars;or 4 at Nurburgring).

Yeah. Rosberg is the only champion to go literally from Zero to Hero. No points at all one year and World champion the next.
Button was close though
