Blessing in disguise maybe? All going to hinge on if/when this second lot of rain comes...

Agreed, no more "lovey-dovey" at McLaren. But then they've always prided themselves on the idea there is no number one driver.

If it's too wet, just red flag it and stop the clock, don't waste time and laps with Safety Cars.

kamui get in there win! Tim O'Glock up in 15h
Re: 2011 Canadian Grand Prix Discussion Thread
Why is Kamui not pitting? Either the Sauber really is *that* good on its tyres, especially the wet ones, or they're missing a trick here.
And oh dear, Jaime, how's that full wet setup working for you?
Also, fourty minutes to do 23 laps...it might be close as to whether or not we get to the finish?

Red Flag...

Re: 2011 Canadian Grand Prix Discussion Thread
Problem with the SC approach is that they're going slower and clearing less water, so even less rain has to fall in order for the track to be driveable again.
tbf, turn 9 does look bad, but apart from that it seems to be okay.

Change Tyres and wings, get Hamilton Back on the track in a new car, because the Red Flag is out and anything can be done.
