Formula One can go racing in the wet. Why have we waited so long?

So, when the race restarts, one would assume that Kamui can't keep Felipe behind him for too long. But given that he seemd to be faster than the Renaults in the little bit of racing we had, I'd say that he has a real shot at the podium still (depending on how long it takes Webber/Button/Alonso to start clawing their way back up).

Where is Kimi when you need him? We need something to liven this up.

What did he say?
It's just unbelievable...that Formula 1 could be such a ridiculous melange of idiots.

Or Clay Regazzoni-I've just read his biography including the tales of when he went missing for a practice session and was tracked down to the bedroom of the hotel they were staying in bed with the hotel owner and her daughter...
....and that was not the first occasion he'd indulged in such a hobby![Shocked ](./images/smilies/icon_eek.gif)

@ row man gros jean; - He was advising them on how Hamilton and Button have talked about the accident and come to terms with the perspective on what happened, he was also giving alot of information on why they aren't out (further shower expected) and what they are waiting for from charlie.

Kobayashi may be an outsider here for the win, as a Japanese driver he has massive experience driving in Monsoon conditions from the lower formulae, plus if he shunts Vettel off I'll have no complaints!

It was indeed! Also I am reckoning we have around 1 hour of racing left, so a 10pm finish here in England, absolutely mental!

Re: 2011 Canadian Grand Prix Discussion Thread
Brundle and DC were talking about it, so I don't know why they didn't show the whole of the 1991 Australian GP instead of non-stop chat, given that the race only lasted about 25 mins. Would have been a good comparison. Judging by the usual guff posted by the BBC in the Classic GP area of the website though, they'll probably claim they 'can't find it in the archives' or something.

Safety car start-let's go racing and worry about the shower when it arrives. If we all sit waiting for it and it turns out to be a few drips,we'll all look daft...

Re: 2011 Canadian Grand Prix Discussion Thread
5:45am here...
Thankfully it's a public holiday tomorrow, as I've really fallen behind on sleep with Le Mans as well.
Fingers crossed that this restart has been worth waiting for.

Circuits virtually clear of standing water and the shower is merely a couple
of drips. Everyone back on full wets too.

Ordered a Chinese, had it delivered half an hour later, ate it, chatted for ages with my family afterwards, had ice cream, browsed Facebook, boards and here - a productive couple of hours.
