So we can get the worst race out of the way before the real season starts?
Seriously though yeah it's oil money. The Bahrain GP organisers pay Bernie's exorbitant fee to have their GP appear first. Abu Dhabi have done it last year and this to be the season finale but they've stopped paying it now and its back at Brazil for 2011.

The new guys were getting mad because their xtrac components kept taking them out of races.
xtrac was mad because the new teams weren't completing full race distances to collect data.

Mark Webber seems to be the new Jean Alesi, pretty much everyone likes him. And we all know that everyone, and I mean everyone, loved Jean Alesi.

Jim Clark is the greatest racing driver of all time hands down. Ayrton Senna does not deserve to even be considered for such acclaim because of his on-track antics.

I have often been afraid to express that opinion but have to agree with it. It is why I hold Alain Prost in higher regard.

It's one thing to push your car to, and possibly beyond, it's limit - it's another to push a rival's car off the road. You can respect Ayrton Senna for that 'win at all costs' mentality, but stooping to such levels is what puts him behind Jim Clark in my book. That, and I believe Jim Clark was more naturally talented anyway - the problem was that his Lotus was always very fragile.

What is Glock doing wasting his time at Virgin? If I was Ferrari, I would snap him up and give Massa the boot.

Doesn't really matter who's in Ferrari #2 now, it's Alonso's team. They may as well bring in Nelsinho.

Jim Clark got his ass whooped on an asphalt track by A.J. Foyt in a dirt car which should never have been competitive. Foyt had a problem in the pits I believe and therefore didn't win the race.
Clark and Senna wouldn't be regarded as highly as they are if both hadn't been killed.

Takuma Sato also passed Fernando Alonso once. In a Super Aguri. One race does not a career make.

I know that, but I'm just stating that Glock deserves to be in a good team.

They were both highly regarded while they were alive. Similarly, you could point to incidents where a 'minor' driver has passed the still-very-much-alive Schumacher, but he's still generally regarded as one of the all-time greats.

Anyone who even considers ranking people like Clark and Senna even on the same category as people who spend the better part of their lives just turning left is either A) An idiot or B) American (With rare cases of C) Both of the above)

Haha, The last page have been fantastic
Oh well, some ranting...
I bathplug hate the damn shitty politics that seems to ruin F1 these days... I know there have always been politics in it, but many races are boring, and then topped by some stupid decisions, I want to watch a good race, and a fantastic season without having to think about politics, the way this is heading you need to have a degree in law and justice, and then work as a politic person for 10-15 years before you can get a grip on this, once so fantastic sport. (Or you can do like me, use all the spare time to be a F1-geek).The thing that made it is the idiotic malaysians in Proton and Danny Bahar(from a country as well?), I'm fed up, I want the good old Team Lotus back, and then I want a team in Renaults place, that's it, not any new Lotus without money, or anything, I don't care if it is a brand new team or they revive Cooper og BRM, I don't care, just please, give us a season of GOOD racing, much overtaking, exitement and NO freaking politics to make everything sour.
Pweeew, good to get it out of the system!

That's your opinion. Personally, I think Jim Clark is better than AJ Foyt and Mario Andretti - all 3 have success in multiple types of racing, but I think Clark's achievements were simply more impressive. He could conceivably win in anything, from BTCC, to F1, to the Indy 500, and also would've won the 1966 Rally of Great Britain had he not crashed.

So, I agree that stupid politics are making us discuss if Jim Clark is better than A.J. Foyt or Mario Andretti and thus depriving us of driving great, exciting races in the States.

2-Mario Andretti
3-A.J. Foyt

More than a year has passed, but it still feels like saying "Jenson Button - Formula 1 Driver's World Champion" is insulting to everyone who was this before him and everyone who will be this in the years to come. He's like the David Arquette of motorsport.
