I'm going to take a wild stab at the dark and say that it's either John Watson or Niki Lauda. Gonna have to check though.

I just checked on Wikipedia and I was in the right sort of ballpark except the wrong team. The answer is Nelson Piquet at the 1982 Detroit and Canadian Grand Prixs.

Correct! But you get no points for being naive enough to admit you used Wikipedia.

Here's another, very tricky one.
Which F1 driver (past or present) is the president of the "formula One Drivers who Finished a Race Club"? (yes, this does exist)

Either way, it was perhaps foolish of me not to consider that it might have been included in a Wikipedia entry (although I have seen Giulia used occasionally, presumably as a translation). As an aside, I wonder if he ever named the cars that he drove at BMW-Sauber a name or not, even if he mostly drove them in free practise?

It's the "Grand Prix
finishers club". And, no, it's none of them. i'll give a hint: the driver in question is European and drove for both high-profile teams and backmarkers in the70's and 80's.

Johnsson didn't start until the 80s so probably not him - I'll take a stab at Marc Surer?

None. Some of the drivers already mentioned have the same nationality as the driver I'm looking for, though.

Boom. Now, someone needs to come up with another question, lest this thread go dormant. I don't really know what to ask.

Here's a short one:
What position was the best for Scuderia Italia in qualifying, and where did they achieve it? Who was it, and in which year?

Alex Caffi, Hungary 1989 - and I actually remembered that without looking for it.

I understood the question - I just thought the answer might have been ironical or something... Only way he could have been in the club was to have founded the club himself...

Is it AGS, and the 1986 JH21C, with Didier Pironi behind the wheel?

Hard questions (Easy for you guys Though)
What do Sergio Perez, Mika Hakkinen and Kimi Raikkonen all have in common?
Also, before Sebastien Bourdais/Sebastien Vettel, and Bourdais and Sebastien Buemi,
who were the last teammates to share the same christian name?

Would it be Stefan Johansson and Stefan Bellof in 1984?

Off the top of my head I can think of two people who were disqualified from their first Grand Prix (Robert Kubica and Sergio Perez). My question is how many other people (if any) have been disqualified from their debut race?

Martin Brundle was one of them.

I read that yesterday, so that is why I remember!
