Maximum per race weekend is three points, so that's what you'll get in South City. Unless you can persuade other teams to allow you to upgrade twice as much, as you missed upgrading for the first race.

What's funny is that the Sprint race, while shorter, has a highlights video that's almost double in length compared to the Feature race video. This is because A) It was 2AM by the time I got the Feature race video done, so I didn't feel like adding any more footage and B) the Sprint race had much more events than the Feature one.

All team owners, qualifying for the South City GP will start on March 8, 16:00 UTC. Any car upgrades bought before that are accepted for the race; anyhing posted afterwards will be used in the next race instead.

Unfortunately, I didn't have the time to watch the race properly, nor do I have time to view the replay, so I can't give much info about what happened.

However, Markus Van de Schoot, who was stuck in the lower midfield, caught my eye on Lap 17, when everyone made their mandatory pit stops. Apparently, when entering the pits, he was hit from behind by Hiroto Tojo, who was coming in way too fast. As a result Tojo got a drive-through penalty and Van de Schoot a stop-and-go penalty for speeding in the pitlane. Okay, so this didn't make him rejectful yet. But what he did on next lap was completely foolish. When he was coming to the pits to serve his penalty, he came in way too fast. And as a result, was given another stop-and-go penalty!

Well, Cave Johnson had a bad start and was squeezed against the wall by Dorval. As a result, he had to brake heavily and dropped down to 20th. Not sure what happened to Prost though.

After reviewing the footage, including some of which wasn't included in the official highlights video, the Rejects of LFS Commission has decided to give penalties to the following drivers after their dangerous driving in the most recent South City Sprint race:

Josh Carlisle receives a 10-place grid penalty in the next race for recklessly rejoining the racing line right in front of Tristan Jung and Alexandra Kustova after spinning out in turn 3 on the first lap, colliding with both as a result. A bit later he repeated this, colliding with Alexandre Dorval.

Stefan Kuntz is excluded from the next GP for the following offenses: caused Mike Stern to spin on the back straight, after which he spun himself, triggering a major pileup. On lap 3, he spun off at turn 3 and drove straight in front of Hiroto Tojo while recovering from the spin. On his fifth lap, despite his car clearly being unable to race anymore, he stubbornly remained on the racing line on the main straight, leading to a collision with Yui Megumi and Simon Garfünkel.

Sebastian Prost receives a 5-place grid penalty in the next race rejoining the racing line right in front of Simon Garfünkel after spinning out in turn 3 on the first lap.

Simon Garfünkel receives a 15-place grid penalty, as well as a suspended one-GP ban for the following offenses: hit Ragnar Larsen from the behind at full speed, despite having enough time to slow down due to the pileup ahead. Larsen spun as a result. Recklessly rejoined the racing line right in front of Alexandre Dorval after spinning in turn 3 on his second lap, resulting in a collision. He repeated the same offense almost immediately, colliding with Stefan Kuntz this time instead. On his 11th lap, he failed to observe the yellow flags, which resulted in him colliding with the considerably slower Van de Schoot.

Mike Stern receives a 5-place grid penalty in the next race for recklessly rejoining the racing line right in front of Yui Megumi after spinning in turn 3 on his fourth lap.

Markus Van de Schoot is excluded from the next two GPs for the following offenses: dangerously reversed back on the racing line after spinning in turn three on his fifth lap, colliding with Alexandra Kustova and Tristan Jung as a result. Dangerously rejoined the racing line after spinning in turn 3 on his 8th lap, hitting Alexandre Dorval as a result. A bit later, despite being considerably slower after heavy damage to his car, he ignored the blue flags and failed to give way to Carsten Jancker and Tristan Jung, who were approaching him from behind. As a result, Jancker and Jung collided. He repeated this offense on the main straight, this time colliding with Megumi, which eventually led to another collision. And if this wasn't enough, he repeated it again with Garfünkel, but this time Garfünkel was more at fault.

Yui Megumi is excluded from the next GP for the following offenses: dangerously reversed back on the racing line after spinning in turn three on his fifth lap, and if Van de Schoot hadn't already collided with them, the resulting collision with Kustova and Jung would've been much more serious. On her 9th lap, she failed to observe the yellow flags, which resulted in her hitting the considerably slower Van de Schoot. After this, she reversed straight in front of Josh Carlisle, resulting in a very high speed collision.

Akira Yamamura receives a 5-place grid penalty, as well as a suspended one-GP ban, for failing to observe the yellow flags, which resulted in him hitting Mike Stern's car at a considerably high speed.

Ragnar Larsen receives a 5-place grid penalty for failing to move aside with his clearly broken car, blocking Andrea Battani as a result.

Carsten Jancker receives a 10-place grid penalty, as well as a suspended one-GP ban, for the following offenses: hit Stefan Kuntz's spinning car with almost full speed despite having enough time to avoid the collision. Failed to observe the yellow flags, which resulted in him hitting the considerably slower Van de Schoot, followed by Jung soon afterwards.

Alexandre Dorval receives a 10-place grid penalty for failing to observe the yellow flags caused by John Carlisle, who was moving slowly after an accident with Megumi. As a result, Dorval hit Carlisle in the behind, and when recovering from the spin which this caused, he drove straight in front of Alexander Buyvolov, resulting in a heavy collision between the two.

The Rejects of LFS Commission has decided to adopt a strict line in penalizing the drivers due to the sheer ignorance of yellow and/or blue flags by many drivers, and because of the serious danger to the drivers' health caused by this. These decisions are final and cannot be appealed. Teams who have had their drivers excluded must nominate replacements before Wednesday, March 14th 17:00 UTC. Drivers who have suspended bans can take part in the next GP, but any further offenses during the remainder of the season will cause the bans to take effect.

Scuderia Alitalia S.p.A. apologises for his shameful behaviour and offers Nobushige Fukuda as a replacement while Stefan Kuntz serves his suspension.

Stefan Kuntz drives for Grands Travaux Inutiles. As does Simon Garfünkel by the way, so they'd have to look for two replacement drivers now!

As I believe that is wholly unfair, I've changed Garfünkel's penalty to a suspended ban and a 15-place grid penalty.

In response to Megumi's one-race ban, I decide to promote TRE's test driver, Tetsuya Takagi, during Megumi's exclusion period.

Well, this could potentially be used as a way to circumvent a penalty, but if you're genuinely disappointed with Josh Carlisle and want to replace him, I see no reason why his replacement would have to suffer from an error he/she didn't commit. But should you decide to race Carlisle again at a later time, then he must serve his penalty in the first qualifying where he takes part after returning.

There's not much car industry to destroy in Belgium anyway... We only have Gillet, which are cars that usually self-destruct within seconds anyway (they were hopelessly unreliable before they used italian engines!)
