We've had quite the few discussions about the accident between Jaeger, Short and your namesake in the F1R chatroom. In short (hehe), we're sure Woodard played quite the role in the crash, but we're enjoying the argument that has ensued over at EFR. Otherwise, he hope the TIMy tech failure reveals more into the Lycoia/Lenard connection and the Short/Melrose crash leads to more hilarity.
Meanwhile, I'm working on a updated Wernstrom 256. The front grills are kidna lame, and with the engineering prowess of Formula A team MRT they should be able to put something together

Plus, Melrose running in the top 10 without his penalty means that the Wernström isn't completely hopeless!

Lenard and Lycoia did a deal where Lycoia was acquired by Lenard and their operations are integrated as of the start of this year. The Lenard/Lycoia conspiracy isn't one. Although there was going to be an attempt to retcon Lycoia being part of Lenard prior to 2011 Round of Indianapolis, but I stopped it after too many issues were brought up.
While my namesake could have backed off as well, it looked like if Short hadn't moved in front of my namesake, he wouldn't have collided with Short at all. But I digress... I think the next time your driver shows up is for the Round of Sweden.

The Round of England was run as a rain race. 6 cars (instead of the usual 4) got the Promoter's Option, and Divina Henton is on the pole.

1. California: Dry Race
2. Carbondale: Post Rain Race
3. Atlanta/Georgia: Pre Rain (Right?) Race
4. England: Rain (Therefore, Pain) Race
I'm guessing it's making up for the lack of a rain race last season
(Hopefully it won't be too much pain)

3 of them run by F1R users: Melrose and Cardel in the updated MRT Wernstroms (painted by me) and Davies in his own Omecha.

I don't think so. The two alternate universes are fundamentally different, and they have a much more formal structure of how they run their various categories than our madhouse here at F1R.

Just realized: If you have a FULL TIME TM LIGHTS DRIVER: Either you need to find a sub for said driver for them to participate in the Karjala GP. Yaaaaaaay :/ *beats head against wall*
Any imports from F1 Rejects open to a possible ride with my team (Terra Int'l Motorsports)?
Oh, and Karjala GP sign ups are... up.

You did post in the twitter thread there were upgrades for the 256. I implied they were MRT derived.

Slight Gravedig...
Karjala Pole Qualifying has taken place, and as described in the last couple of IC weeks (OOC Months, but who's counting, right?) of races, it would be a different format than of previous years.
Qualifying procedure:
- The first qualifying session will lock the top 10 on the starting grid, instead of the top 5.
- The second qualifying session will lock positions 11-30 in (so 20 cars) of the starting grid.
- Everyone else gets in through qualifying races. Unlike last season, once a car passes through a qualifying session, they're in the race in one of the final 12 spots on the grid.
After pole qualifying, this is how the grid looks:
Row 1
#82 Lev Azarov (RUS), 1:33.822
#16 Kurt Plissken (USA), 1:34.244
Row 2
#74 Zack Duff (CAN), 1:34.425
#55 Zelda Ashby (JPN), 1:34.554
Row 3
#5 Michael Sykes (WAL), 1:34.576
#10 Mathias Taube (SWE), 1:34.630
Row 4
#07 Heikki Ventola (FIN), 1:34.633
#11 Divina Henton (ENG), 1:34.691
Row 5
#2 Packer Carroll (USA), 1:34.718
#12 Mélanie Clevenot (SUI), 1:34.768
Notes:
* Daniel Leckliter shook down the 47 car and ran it in pole qualifying. He caused two wrecks.
* Erik Draachreider's car failed post-qualifying inspection and his times for the session were wiped. He would have qualified in 8th.
* Tom Moore's car also failed post-qualifying inspection and his times for the session were wiped. He would have qualified in 10th.
----
The final qualifying session saw a few surprises, such as Andrew O'Reilly making a last-gasp run to bump Greg Woodard out of the field, and one of the FIAM cars, driven by Giuseppe Marchetti, storm its way onto the grid despite missing pole qualifying.
All three participants in last year's run to the finish, Leonid Roderick, Mika Paasonen, and Antero Virtanen, all made it back onto the grid.
Alexis Rainsford and Adrien Devereux make for quite a bit of star power, but both will start on row 14.
----
Row 6
#17 Louis Kingston (USA), 1:34.523
#7 Yuliya Nosova (RUS), 1:34.948
Row 7
#70 Mika Paasonen (FIN), 1:35.438
#87 Darren Cardel (WAL), 1:35.509
Row 8
#20 Dale Roswell (USA), 1:35.518
#33 Matti Alanko (FIN), 1:35.575
Row 9
#307 Radomir Stanyotchev (BUL), 1:35.711
#81 Danny Savin (USA), 1:35.832
Row 10
#126 Alexander Sybilton (ENG), 1:35.907
#51 Antero Virtanen (FIN), 1:35.972
Row 11
#44 Paul Lyons (USA), 1:36.033
#75 Giuseppe Marchetti (ITA), 1:36.048
Row 12
#8 Yevgeny Kuznetsov (RUS), 1:36.123
#13 Alan Hodges (WAL), 1:36.166
Row 13
#14 Alli Culotta (USA), 1:36.251
#4 Leonid Roderick (USA), 1:36.333
Row 14
#1 Adrien Devereux (FRA), 1:36.366
#27 Alexis Rainsford (USA), 1:36.395
Row 15
#291 Andrew O'Reilly (IRE), 1:36.440
#9 Arto Kekkonen (FIN), 1:36.456

Yeah, because I was stupid and sent Moore's car to Cynon with last season's ratings instead of this season's! He fixed the issue though and Moore should be able to pull off something neat.
Shame my namesake got bumped out by a 'Dash Cuppie'. Hmph... oh well, onto the final stretch before the main event!

The rWo scores a big fat goose-egg at Karjala, Voeckler and Melrose getting trolled by others and Cardel and his issues with Zach Duff continues, only for the Autobacs 256 to blow up.
James Davies will be at Wales, could he spoil the battle between Sykesy and Hodges?
Also, gwoodard, check the F1RWRS thread over at EFR.

Woodard drove a great race, but Roderick was robbed. The Mad Uncle's latest episode of severe brain fade was quite disastrous, and as for James Davies... well, at least he has one lap pace down somewhat.

Quebec at the earliest. It did not show up for Darlington, and that race has been run already. Only three promoter's options have been named for Quebec (Auxier, Morgan Le Fey, and Marcos Leonard) so far.
Mélanie Clévenot will start at the back for her collision with Chris Johaanes in pit entry at Wales. Zelda Ashby's time penalty from Russia was overturned, meaning that Ashby was reinstated to 4th place.

I just have a bad feeling about Darlington, and yes, I do completely understand the anger of what people may feel with the end of the Round of Wales, I personally (and through my namesake) wished it turned out differently.
But on a more positive note, who's looking forward to the rest of the season?! I sure am
