Britek will offer Matt Neal 50K and Yvan Muller 75K for the enduros.
A tribute to the heroic failures of Grand Prix racing

Just like there's no way in hell Peter Brock would ever have driven for Ford...oh wait...
Nothing is impossible. Merely unlikely.

Well, after being denied by so many teams, the guy was starting to get desperate for a V8 drive somewhere. But if you really want to, I can deduct the 75k from your accounts.
Thexton to re-enter V8 Supercars with ex-Triple 8 BF Falcon
There has been some shock news to the V8 Supercars paddock as David Thexton is planning to re-enter the series in a Triple 8 BF Falcon. The car will be prepared by Triple 8 and run under the Thexton Motor Racing banner.

Anyway, how can James Thompson be so slow when Jorg Bergmeister is so fast? Thommo is still driving what is essentially a HRT...

The 2009-2010 Walkinshaw Performance cars were nowhere near HRT level spec iirc.

It's worse than hand-me-downs; the #24 car was the same one that ended the career of Paul Radisich. And the same one that Karl Reidler was driving when Steve Owen decided to try writing it off at Barbagallo a few years later. If that's not dodgy Walkinshaw dealings, I don't know what is

And what are Triple Eight doing?
Speedcafe.com.au wrote:Walkinshaw detained for assault
Tom Walkinshaw left Adelaide in the back of a police van after the Clipsal 500, following a mid-race brawl between his Walkinshaw Performance team and the Ford Rising Stars team.
FRS driver Michael Patrizi had been wreaking havoc by driving slowly in front of the leaders while a lap down, eventually causing a multi-car pileup that brought out the Safety Car. Thanks to that incident, one of the main victims was James Thompson, who slammed into the back of Whincup, damaged his car and fell down the order.
Walkinshaw, fuming at the incident, marched down to Patrizi's garage along with some of the team's mechanics and started fighting with the Ford Rising Stars' crew. The two factions had to be pulled apart by crews at neighbouring garages, and eventually police became involved - detaining several staff, most notably of which Tom Walkinshaw.
Moments before being taken away, he said "Patrizi is a f***ing disgrace to racing, there's no way that incompetent f***ing numpty should be let anywhere near a racetrack ever again. The FIA should take his f***ing license away. I mean, what are we doing here, are we racing or playing f***ing bumper cars at the fairground?"
Ford Rising Stars refused to comment on the incident afterwards.
