Following George Russell's request for greater pay, we have a counter-offer for him. Revisions have been highlighted in bold:

We would like to offer George Russell a five-year contract extension as a race driver, bringing his contract to a total of six years.

For 2023 we will pay him £1,000,000
For 2024 we will pay him £1,500,000
For 2025 we will pay him £2,000,000
For 2026 we will pay him £2,500,000
For 2027 we will pay him £3,000,000

However, we do not want to stifle his opportunities for development. He will retain the option to leave the team if he receives an offer from a team that has won a WDC or WCC within the preceding 24 months of the offer. To break the contract, our team would require a payment from the signing team, equal to or greater than the sum of the remaining payments on George's contract. He may also trigger a performance release clause if the team finishes below 10th in the World Constructors Championship.

Max Verstappen will miss the next Grand Prix with a race ban. Since Red Bull Racing have a standard Third Driver, they will enter Mick Schumacher unless they sign a different driver instead (the wage will be taken out of Norris's). pinkd56 will have until September 8, 7:00 p.m. CEST to arrange a deal if he chooses to not use Schumacher after all.

Desai Debut Delayed, Claims Aldo Costa

In an interview about his future in Formula One, current Ferrari lead designer Aldo Costa talked more about the still-controversial hiring of Jarno Trull by Ferrari last season and confirmed that the original plan was to bring in Victoria Desai to replace the departed Dave Cassidy, giving her her debut earlier than it did happen.

According to Costa, the main reason Desai ended up not driving for Ferrari in 2021 already was that Andrea Piccini, team principal of the Iron Lynx Motorsport Lab insisted that Desai took part in the Indianapolis 8 Hours as was planned before Cassidy's release. As that event would have clashed with the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the decision was made to instead delay Desai's debut until 2022.

Costa claims to have no involvement in the decision to hire Trulli and claims that it "was not a decision [he] would have made", but understood Ferrari's desire to have a safe hand. Once the opportunity for Desai's debut was lost, it made sense to get a driver who would "not crash the car". Costa laughed as he admitted that "that did not work out", refering to his race-ending accidents in Abu Dhabi and China.

Precision Motorsport Officially Removed from Entry List, Becoming McEwan Automotive

The latest entry list for the 2023 Formula One season, published by the Formula Committee, officially has replaced Precision Motorsport with the Q8 AMG McEwan Automotive F1 Team, ending the former's seven-season run in the premier motorsport series. This move confirms rumors that the decision by Precision's aftermarket car parts division to branch out from offering exclusively parts for Mercedes-Benz and Smart vehicles created an irrevocable rift between the two parties.

According to said rumors, Jeroen Krautmeir was pressured into agreeing to a name change in order to not lose the Mercedes-Benz sponsorship, which is still providing a major part of the team's operative income. A source in the company claims that the actual ownership structure of the company will remain unchanged for the foreseeable future. So far, neither Mercedes-Benz nor the Precision-Teile OHG have been available for comment, but a press release is expected sooner rather than later.

Let us continue work on the hydrogen fuel cell motors for the 2022 season.

For that purpose, you send your testing team out for two testing days (respectively two for the weeks after the Hungarian and Île-de-France Grands Prix) and have them work on one of four things: motor power, which is the base BHP output of the motor; qualifying mode, which describes how much quicker your motor can go if fuel consumption is raised to the maximum; car failure probability, which states how likely it is for your motor to blow up or adversely affect other parts of a car and motor mass, which is the weight of your motor and how it negatively affects cornering speed as a reduction of the car's base grip.

Basically, you can add two "levels" every Grand Prix from now on (except after the season finale, where you will be able to add four levels (we'll get to that after the Chinese Grand Prix)). Each test day costs €1,000,000. Regardless of how many test days you use, you must have at least Lv. 1 for every aspect before the beginning of next season.

You are free to write in-character reports on your testing prowess without any limitation except maybe common sense. Those in-character reports will not affect driver ability or future RNG odds.

Personally I am not too excited by the prospect of Andretti joining the Formula One grid. The championship has diluted it's franchise value for years with teams such as Dawson and Loonmotor. This might have been interesting if we didn't have these small teams around but I just think they'll be lost in the noise. The less said about this McEwan business, the better.

Of course, this was a tough season for all of us. As a team that won both Championships in 2019, we cannot be happy to finish all the way down in 11th just 3-years later. It's now time to keep working hard as a collective unit and work on the processes that we've put in place since the beginning of the season.

"Over the course of the season, rumors that you are unhappy with your drivers were surfacing numerous times. How secure are their seats for the 2023 season?"
It's true that there have been a few things that we, as a team, weren't entirely happy with, but I don't think that it's the right time nor the right place to put blame on our drivers. All aspects of the team have to be reviewed before any decisions are made, and announcements will be made when there is a deal in place. We would look really stupid if we were to announce a driver that we haven't even signed yet.

"Last question, regarding the engine situation. Can you confirm or deny that your contract with Judd will be renewed?"
The answer is the same as for the drivers, really. We are in talks with the different manufacturers, as it is an important decision for the future of the team. Judd has never let us down when it comes to their Hydrogen fuel cell motors, so we would be happy to continue the partnership. But as of now, there is no deal in place, so I cannot confirm anything for the 2023 season and beyond.

Toyota becomes blue for 2023 and onwards

Toyota Motorsport is proud to announce that as part of their existing sponsorship deal with Japan Tobacco, Mevius has been selected as the brand to go forward for the remainder of this deal. While the younger fans may not know the history of the Mevius brand, the motorsport enthusiasts among us will surely know that this is in fact the cigarette formerly known as Mild Seven, which has enjoyed success in Formula One throughout the 1990s and 2000s. After the brand name change in 2012, Mevius has not made an appearance in motorsports until today. We are looking forward to this partnership and hope this will also coincide with increased success both on and off the track.

Although this means yet another blue livery on the grid, Toyota will do their best not to create a collision with the other "blue" teams.
