And would you decided to drive for Alitalia or not if you had the chance to decide? :P

It's a little too late for that innit? He's already qualified :P

Plus, if Dave Simpson does up and leave I'll sue him into the ground for putting my team into an impossible situation with the F1RWRS commission. I need two drivers, I've used up my quota, hence creating a paradox where I can't hire any replacement drivers despite the fact I'm required to run two drivers.

The only way to avoid said lawsuit is to somehow persuade ARC & DGNgineering that Mestolio should return to Trueba with Simpson heading to ARC.

I guess in case of running a 5th driver you would be fined with something in the 50 to 100cr region.

I think you cannot recover the chat now... But I can tell you that Martins retired with yet another mechanical failure and Bosevic scored a point in 6th (I think...) There were only 8 finishers.

EDIT: By the way, Douglas Mann took a shocking win! ;) And Katayama scored a second place for new Sunshine (which is the old, but that is an uninteresting detail...)

I am surprised Phoenix McAllister was not also warned or punished by the F1RWRS commission considering the part he played in the golf cart débâcle...he was the one who stole it in the first place after all :D

For those who didn't see the race; Kay Lon, Phoenix McAllister and Alasdair Lindsay all headed for the Sunshine motorhome mid-race after hearing they had an open bar. The trio predictably became completely wasted. While Kay Lon lay on the ground only semi-concious, McAllister and Lindsay looked around the paddock until they found an unattended golf buggy and stole it. They subsequently went back to pick up Lon, then drove down the paddock inviting every other driver aboard. All except Barii Mori and Dave Simpson declined, as McAllister (who was driving, with Lindsay shouting pointless and random 'pace notes') tried to enter the racetrack to, and I quote, "win this race!". They failed, so McAllister duly drove the buggy into a lake. Mori, Lindsay, Simpson and McAllister swam back to land but noticed Lon was too passed out to get out, so Phoenix dived back in and dragged his sorry ass back to dry land.

Needless to say Alcoholics Anonymous will be setting up a racing branch very soon...

If we can maintain this kind of consistent form every weekend, then I feel we'll have a good chance come the end of the season at finishing higher than we expected only a few races earlier. We just need to focus on trying to improve the cars so that we can both finish the races and collect even more points. Yet again our qualifying let us down, and had that been better we might have been celebrating an even better result, but as it is another podium is a good result, and we're certainly happy with that as we prepare for our home race. I'll be hoping for another Monaco-esque performance from myself there that's for sure!

By the way, what happened to Lon? I almost feel a bit bad having kicked him out of my team last year, it seems the Sunshine is sending him a bit mad...maybe we could all club together and buy the kid a place in a mental hospital perhaps?

MA-Racing make their debut, but it ends early.

David Neuberg continued his impressive performances by lining up for the French Grand Prix today, in an impressive 20th place. But sadly for the team, their weekend ended on lap 6 with gearbox failure. Still, the team will be delighted their hard work has finally seen them take a race start.
"Its a shame to be out of the race so early, but the experience the team have taken can only be a good thing", said David. Team boss Mr.Alexander was also disappointed by the early retirement. "For sure, we wouldve liked to see David finish the race. Even a good handful of laps wouldve helped us. But we're confident we will make the grid again."

Aerond: You do know Neuberg is supposed to be a pay-driver? It's just he's been spanking Valsattis and I didn't think pay-drivers would be better than a normal driver.

I can 'loan' you either Stephen Mackintosh or Alexey Pchelintsev for 6 races if you want? I'm keeping Neuberg and Valsattis together until at least round 13. Both are regular drivers, and Mackintosh has had 60 credits spent on his qualifying performance. I don't know if he keeps that driving for another team or not.

Yet another rumour has been entered in the mill, Tropico Grand Prix powered by CR Motorsport are supposedly interested in signing Steven Mackintosh as a test driver from 2015 onwards. The Brit was supposedly offered a two year-contract with a clause that allows him to leave anytime a Formula 1 team or a Top 15 F1RWRS team requests his services.

Apparentely this offer is based on the fear that Micko Glotch might not be able to get his F1RWRS license in time which is why the Tropican team is looking at possible other drivers who already have such a license but would be able to bring sponsorship in copious amounts as well.
