Here's my late entry through London's Olympic Park (now known as the Queen Elizabeth Park), having a chicane in the middle of a stadium. Ended up a bit more tight and twisted than I wanted, but my first attempt ended up at only 2.7 km...

So here's the results:

14th - Simtek
Not massively inspiring I'm afraid. All 90 degree bends and I would imagine the rest would be flat out.

13th - andrew
The track doesn't seem to have any flow to it and its punctuated by a lot of little chicanes and apart from that its mainly 90 degree corners. Not my cup of tea.

12th - mrfakeboullier
You did the important thing, which was to include Wembley Way! Unfortunately, I'm not sure the roads around Wembley (aside from South Way) particularly lend themselves to an exciting race track. I also would have reversed the direction and had the cars entering the stadium at full speed from Wembley Way (ignoring that its not possible in real life!).

11th - tBone
Nice first try, but needs a bit of work. The 2nd half of the track is solid and you've made fairly good use of the stadium. Really not sure about that hairpin double right hander on Korte Hulfakkerstraat though.

10th - AdrianBelmonte_
Love the concept, very daring to go through 3 stadiums! However, it kind of compromises because of it by packing in the corners Valencia style, the City Ground to Trent Bridge section is a bit messy and Mickey Mouse.

9th - WaffleCat
Another squareish circuit that doesn't quite do it for me. I like the use of the parkland and the chicanes that are thrown into the straights mix things up a bit. Perhaps it would be a bit like Surfers Paradise. However, it doesn't look like much of a challenge. Funny to see how many places in Adelaide have the same name as parts of London!

8th - roblomas52
Got some good bits and some not so good bits but that's what you get with such a long track. Would have liked to see more of the inside of the stadium used and kilometres 5 to 6 are a pretty ugly sequence of 90 degree turns, but stuff like kilometre 2 to 3 is nice and flowing. Would have been better turning the circuit to the right after the 3 kilometre mark and linking up to where the 7 kilometre mark is to make a shorter track.

7th - AlexP800
Kind of looks like a circuit that would be on the F1 calendar, maybe as its on the waterfront. The loops are interesting - the first one works but the second one has that hairpin which a bit too tight really. Makes full use of the stadium pitch, which is good to see. Straights perhaps are a little too long.

6th - UgncreativeUsergname
The layout kind of reminds me of Albert Park in places, so that's a plus. Like the use of 2 bridges and first chicane looks exciting. Bonus points for using such a random cricket ground too. However, it doesn't look massively challenging in terms of the corners.

5th - go_Rubens
Can't see the kilometre markers so not sure which direction the track goes in! Either way it has a few overtaking spots. I like the use of the bridge to the stadium and overall it looks frighteningly fast but more than just a series of straights; there's enough in there to keep the drivers on their toes.

4th - dr-baker
I knew they'd be an Olympic Park entry, and why not, there's so many landmarks! The corners in the stadium are the best I've seen and I would criticise the technical section just after that, but its kind of needed as there's no other part of the track like that. Given that the river makes design quite difficult too this is a really good job!

3rd - TheFlyingCaterham
This is a cool looking track! Lots of unconventional curves and the track has distinct sectors too that would challenge car set up. Perhaps a little too technical in places (around the 3 mile mark is my least favourite bit) and lacking overtaking spots, but otherwise its all there.

2nd - peteroli34
I can usually rely on peteroli for a decent track and this is another one. The stadium is really part of the track and not only is there a section inside (coming into the stadium at speed too!) but the track wrapped around it too. The sweeping corners after the river crossing look cool too.

1st - Bleu
You picked one of my favourite stadiums! I love how one of the sides of the ground is basically the face of a rock quarry! From experience, Portugal always seems to be a good place for tracks. The first 2 kms are pretty special (perhaps the track shouldn't loop back down the other side of the pitch, but that's being picky) and the rest of the track is nice and open for some wheel to wheel racing and overtaking.

About not seeing the markers, just look at "turn on mile markers". You can click the "on".

I knew I should've used the Killarney Road...

Still, not everyday you see a Hero to Zero performance like that!

I had a feeling that my track was pretty good. Although, I'm waiting for the next challenge to rid myself of mediocrity. Top 5 is good, but I have a drive for more.

Fortunately go_Rubens, I did assume that the track was clockwise and kind of guessed where it would start so my comments still stand!

Not a bad start, I guess. I'll definitely be back for more!

I have a feeling that if someone made Albert Park, metre for metre, we'd say "meh, too many 90-degree corners".

Same here, even though I have my own plan for a challenge laid out... if I win again!

There should probably be a rule where if the winner fails to post a challenge in a certain length of time it should be passed to the runner-up. And if the runner-up fails to do so then it passes to the person who came 3rd and so on. Unless such a rule already exists.

As the guy with the power to make rules whenever for any reason (at least I had that in the previous chain), I'm calling it a week since the results are posted. Plenty of time. So go for it, either Bleu or peteroli34.

Rob, as your track in the last challenge was rated 8th, under the proposed rule, you would be 8th in line to propose the next challenge. I too have ideas for future challenges, y'know...

The Inagural Formula E race in Berlin is supposedly taking place at the former Templehoff Airport, However I don't believe that the track has been revealed.

Therefore your challenge is to create a track encompassing Templehoff Airport

There are no Length restrictions just restricted to the location

Im kinda confused if it has to be built to FE standards (around 3-4km in length, very short straights) or not
I still made one though, not built to FE standards.
