No, no, no. The only reason for the predictable results is Mark Dagnall becoming a game breaker: he is the only driver with enough investments made into him to reduce the effect of the random grip range, effectively making him the strongest driver 9 out of 10 times. DagnallWinsLol would also be a thing if he were to drive for MRT/Jones/Kamaha (when they finish, that is)/Aeroracing. There is a reason I am pushing for the removal of the current driver upgrade system, y'know? I am not doing this for the joy of it.

No, it means that for a while late in the race top 10 were Dgn, Mrt, aeroracing, kamaha and Jones drivers, and that noone was close enough to fight this (although early on Nicolas was there)

Yes but in the final standings, the highest-placed driver from outside of those 5 teams was Mestolio - that's what I mean by 'best of the rest'. ;)

If I don't get notice from Eurobrun before the Canadian GP weekend is started, I will put Dean O'Lauchlan in the car since he's the official test driver. Eurobrun will get an extra stint with O'Lauchlan if he wants to put him in the car at a later date.

Could you please give Franc Piscine from F3RWRS an outing? He will be a normal driver, I want to see if he will be any good. If you accept, you can put one of your drivers in the second Plus One F3RWRS seats nest year if you like :)

Think for a second, Piscine won't be for the F3 eligible for the rest of the year if you run him in the F1.

I wouldn't do that tbh, you're screwing your driver limit for nothing. O'Lauchlan may be garbage but taking the hit now gives you options later in the season.

I was on a school camp with very limited internet access so F1RWRS PP will be resumed in a little while. Just put O'Lauchlan in the car as I don't have anyone better.

QUALIFYING

** Alitalia will run in Pre-Q at Round 8

RACE

Starting at the front of a race is a good thing, you have clean track ahead and a clear picture of where you can head to gain positions; starting at the back is not very good, but at least it gives you the chance of making up places due to mistakes ahead, but starting in the middle of the pack is sort of a lottery, because you're surrounded by lots of drivers trying to make up places and may end up having nowhere to go but off track; this is (sort of), what happened to Mark Dagnall, who for once, paid the price of a substandard qualifying effort and ended up out of the race too soon, courtesy of Kay Lon who forgot to hit the brakes in time and took out of the race his own teammate, Andrea Battani and Phillippe Nicolas in the process; the french driver mustn't be too happy after his stint at Kingfisher both after having lost three races to try make points for the championship and the good efforts shown by David Neuberg in the MRT; the young German led for most of the race until the inevitable car failure left him without his first win. The other MRT should have been there to pick up the pieces, but it also left Davies at the side; the F1RWRS veteran probably felt he had lost a golden opportunity to tackle some points on Mark Dagnall. Instead, the win went to Pippa Mann, who again was "the best of the rest", and coupled with some reliability gave Aeroracing their first win in F1RWRS and the first non DGN-MRT win of the year. Ron Mignolet made merits before to inherit the 2nd place, but it wasn't to be DGN's day and the transmission let him down; instead, the six points went to Martin McFry; This should have been Martin 2nd podium after the Fuji race last year, but this time nothing weird happened and the Foxdale driver showed he has some talent to begin with; his teammate could only be 9th in the very same car, and ended up badly beaten, getting for this the ROTR award: Douglas Mann can be much faster and he knows it. Sammy Jones and Rosco Vantini were helped again by the good reliability of the Jones car and both finished in the points; Vantini could have ended up higher, but he was carelessly hit by Douglas Mann a few laps to the end and he could only take one point home. James Davies finally found some pace and reliability on the Sunshine and got some much needed points for the Daihatsu powered squad, just ahead of the Dr.Jekill side of Aurelien Moll.

Appart from the stellar effort by Kay Lon, worrying signs came from the Kamaha box as well. They might have been watching some 2013 videos and decided they wanted to be like Foxdale were that year; very fast, but extremely unreliable, both cars expired early (Steele's in spectacular fashion) and the others are already calling them "BBQ team of the year". Also bad signs from HRT, with cars stuck in Pre-Q and Melrose failing to qualify, while Zimmer went unnoticed and even unseen when he retired.
