Seriously though, I will probably not fire Scott yet. Since I want to retain a theoretical shot at making it to the grid, I need a proper pay driver as replacement. I cannot use Du Lei because of the five driver limit and neither van Dycke

AndreaModa, I know everything has been set in motion, but do you think we can delay van Rijkens' debut by a race? I really don't like sacking Older Jr. before his home race (I ain't interested in taking team management lessons from Eddie Jordan). If you insist I will of course go through with it as scheduled, but if you could wait until Spa, that would be awesome.

Well, at least it's not El Presidente funding his career. I mean, our Great Leader surely has better ways to spend his money than fund that clown's career. Like, you know, stashing it in his Swiss ba... *cough* investing it in the Tropican National Development fund.
Meanwhile, rumour has it Melrose was on the first flight to Tropico on the Monday morning after the Canadian Grand Prix, allegedly for a two week fitness training program in the Caribbean nation but who knows what the clown's up to these days.

In a shock announcement after the Candian Grand Prix, Hungarian Scuderia Alitalia driver David Koczo announced his retirement from the F1RWRS at the end of the season.
"First of all, can I thank every one of you for being here today. It means a lot, really it does. I've called this press conference today to announce to you all that I will be retiring from the F1RWRS at the end of this year. I am pleased to be in my sixth season of F1RWRS competition, but the one thing that comes with experience is decideing when to call it a day. And after much thought, I've decided this season will be my last.
I've had the privelidge of working with lots of talented and enthusiastic people during my time in F1RWRS. I'd like t thank everyone at Pemberton Prospec Racing for giving me the chance to compete in the first place, and for my 3 wins with the team. Thank you guys, that'll always be a special place.
I'd also like to thank everyone who worked at Calinetic, although our partnership didn't yeild the results that we both wanted, I can safely say I enjoyed my time there and was truly sad at such a great team's demise.
Alasdair Lindsay also deserves thanks for offering me a drive last year. Alasdair's a great guy, we drink together down the local, and all the guys at Alitalia are very supportive and great to be around, thanks to you all.
I'd like to make it clear that I remain committed to Scuderia Alitalia for the rest of the year, where I will put in 100% effort to extract 100% out of the car and try and get those first points! The reasons for my retirement honsetly have nothing to do with the Scuderia Alitalia team, it is based on my own choice. The cars have changed dramatically since when I first started, and I don't feel that I can fully master their abilities any more. New regulations are coming in next year, and the amount of talent in the lower levels is astonishing, I feel like I'm taking up a seat.
All in all, many thanks to everyone I've been worked with for such great experiences!"
David Koczo remains the only Hungarian to have ever competed at a F1RWRS event. As of today, he has 71 entries, 40 starts, 100 points, 3 victories, 4 pole positions and 1 fastest lap.

Scuderia Alitalia team principal Alasdair Lindsay has been quick to quash rumours of race driver David Koczo announcing his retirement at the end of the season, after a story run by RWRSReport purporting to have interviewed said Koczo.
"They say in this stupid news outlet I've never heard of that they interviewed Koczo and he said he's retiring," said Lindsay. "I can tell you for a fact that he isn't. He has a contract until the end of the 2016 season and it was signed with the intention to honour that. We haven't discussed any kind of mutual contract termination with him so I can only assume this story has been made up."
"I am going to take a guess that RWRSReport is the new guise of The Generic Times, who of course were banned for being completely wrong about everything and stupidly controversial to the extreme. I can tell you through this reputable and internationally renowned news source, La Gazzetta Dello Sport, that reports of Koczo's retirement are greatly exaggerated. He is free to do what he likes when his contract with Scuderia Alitalia expires, but until then he is an F1RWRS driver with our team."

It would be a travesty if he didn't end up in an F1RWRS seat next season". It is not understood yet whether Torrente would bring funds to his new team, but it is rumoured that he is negotiating with CEPSA and Hipercor to at least put together some form of budget to help him progress.

Corriere Dello Sport wrote:Alitalia courting Kazama AND Lon?!
The latest rumours coming out of Parma are that instead of the previous predictions that Alitalia would keep their 2015 lineup for another year, they will replace both drivers - with two drivers from the same stable.
The ever mercurial Kay Lon was mentioned as an Alitalia target during 2014, and has once again been linked to Alitalia this season too. But the other driver linked to Alitalia is a driver managed by the German; Tomo Kazama, who is currently leading the F2RWRS championship. Alitalia management is said to be impressed which her quick progress in the junior ranks, and seriously considering giving her a seat over their own in-house young talents Andrej Kremnicky and Bastiaan van Nieuwenhuijzen.
While the above appears to be the strongest rumour so far, L'Equipe has suggested that Philippe Nicolas is also being considered by the Scuderia Alitalia board, a driver currently on the chopping block at MRT. Meanwhile The Herald claims that another MRT-linked driver, Nathan McKane, is being eyed by countryman and Alitalia team principal Alasdair Lindsay as a possible rookie hire - the Scot is currently leading the Rejects of LFS series.
And finally, in a story we can only presume was paid for by his agent, Nestra Aya was linked to the seat by Malaysian media. It would be a signing that makes Ma Qing Hua's foray into Formula 1 back in 2012 look like a sensible driver choice.

The International Beacon wrote:ALITALIA RUMOURS SOUND WAY TOO BIZARRE
It has occurred to me that Scuderia Alitalia is courting a lot of drivers according to a recent article by Corriere Dello Sport. However, some of them just look way too bizarre for them to become reality.
For instance, it says that Tomo Kazama was linked to a drive, as she was leading the F2RWRS championship. While this is a valid reason, it should be said that Kazama would likely drive for an established team in the RWRS, one that has had lots of years of experience. Prospec would be one example, they were there since the beginning. Another would be ArrowTech, in the series since 2011, although Bosevic's salary might run some problems. HRT is another good choice, given that Melrose just can't seem to find himself lately, and I think that would be Kazama's best fit in the RWRS. As for Alitalia, they should reach for someone in their F2RWRS team, like Andrej Kremnicky, for it seems his only problem on that team seems to be the unstability of the car. In fact, the F2RWRS stewards give out way too many penalties - already we've seen racing incidents get two drivers excluded from a race. So Alitalia shouldn't take their mishaps too harshly on the drivers.
The rumours also speculate Kay Lon being linked to a seat as well. But this is also unlikely, as Alitalia simply cannot pay his salary. Lon doesn't seem to like Prospec all that well, so it's more likely that Lon will go Tropico, only because they have a boatload of money funded from the government of Tropico. Though, admittingly, Lon had better get his act together or he's going to run out of teams to go to, with his less than spectacular friendships with the management of the teams he's been in the past.
So although Koczo seems to be retiring (or more likely, running out the front door), Alitalia is likely looking for new drivers. And hopefully, Kremnicky will get his well-deserved debut in the F1RWRS.

With silly season beginning to get underway, one rumour that is picking up steam is that James Davies will re-sign for Sunshine for 2016. This comes after Davies' 4th place finish in Canada, where the team displayed much increased pace, resulting in them being lifted out of pre-qualifying. Although Davies said earlier in the year that he "would not be a Sunshine driver in 2016", team principal João Lagos expressed at the time that he wished to retain Davies. Neither party has yet commented on the rumours. Other rumours suggest that Davies may move to Foxdale should Douglas Mann retire, or that he may replace The Stig at Aeroracing. It is known that Davies' salary is one of the lowest of paid drivers in the F1RWRS, owing to his personal sponsorships.
Some Publication wrote:Who will replace DGNgineering?
By Moderate D. Journalist
Since DGNgineering have announced that they will be leaving the F1RWRS to pursue a WCC in Formula 1, the scramble to claim the F1RWRS slot left by them has already started. It is known that 3 teams have already applied for the spot.
The first of which is a very well known entity - Luke Knight's Plus One Group, which already runs teams in various series with a generally good level of success. This, combined with their strong backing from Foster's, and already-existing driver academy, make them the clear favourites to take the slot.
Another application comes from The Fighting Mongooses squad. The team, run by Scotsman Jimmy McJimmerson, can trace its roots back to a privateer outfit in Formula 1 that started in 1952. Since then, the team has been bought out, pulled out of F1, moved to touring cars, and resold. Still, both McJimmerson and the team are reknowned for their engineering expertise, and this is expected to make up for the team's shortcomings with single-seater experience.
The third application comes from Équipe Gauthier - owned by former Formula 1 driver and F1RPG2C team owner Guillaume Gauthier, who is well-known for his iron-fisted approach to team management. That said, his organisation has little assets that can be moved to support a F1RWRS bid, as he has already stated that he will not be ending his competition in other series. Still, he has a very well-respected PR department, and owns a stake in the Paul Ricard circuit, so don't count him out by any means.
