If any of these drivers want a full-time ride, then they can have the Pulsar seat...

James Davies, following the race wrote:Well, it was not the ideal race that we were hoping for. We were certain that Paul would've been on pole, but some conflicting information form the officials meant he did one more lap than he was allowed, so he was forced to start from the back. From there it was simply recovery mode, and he did a fantastic job to recover some potentially valuable championship points.
Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about Tomasz. Even for his first race in RTCC, his pace was disappointing, and the way that he held up Paul was simply unnecessary. He was not going to score any more points, but Paul's pace was such that he could've caught Valenti and Megone before the end of the race. DRT will elect not to take up our option with him for the rest of the season, but we wish him the best of luck in his future career. I cannot at this time confirm who his replacement will be.

Jasper Lerby wrote:That was disappointing. My race engineer told me I'd still have a lap, so I tried to take Pole Position. Instead, I had my qualifying times wiped out, and my weekend was basically over. I gained a lot of positions in the race, but when you're starting from the back of a 38 car grid, there's not much you can do. Lorenzo showed how fast the car was, so I can hope for a better weekend in Brands Hatch.
José Pablo Mazzacane wrote:Congratulations to Lorenzo for taking second place, and first of the independents. The incident for Jasper in qualifying was unfortunate, and he will get a new race engineer for next weekend. However, I recommend him to count the laps himself then.
ZimSport make RTCC driver change
John Zimmer today confirmed that his son Ryan will no longer be racing in the RTCC effective immediately. "Ryan made the call," Zimmer said today. "He enjoyed driving the RejecTruck at Adelaide, then came to the Mountain and just didn't like it."
Ryan Zimmer was originally going to compete at most rounds, except where his schedules in the F1RIRC and RTSS clashed. "He's going to relocate to the US permanently to focus on the IndyCars and the RejectTruck series, and hopefully he'll be able to enjoy those better than the RTCC.
Zimmer confirmed that he already had a replacement lined up. Danish driver Henrik Dehn will drive the #32 Mobil Holden Vectra for the remainder of the season, after Zimmer recently shut down his SARS operation.

Only a few days after Jef Verbeeck announced his hopefully temporary retirement from motorsport, our business contacts with Davies Racing Team enabled team manager Geni Lustenberger to give Koyomi Setou a run at handling both RTCC and Lupo GTI Championship duties.
"Only challenges improve the mind and so I have never backed down from a challenge which running in both events surely will be," the 22-year old Japanese driver said in a public statement, "however, the chance of spreading my message of intellectual motorsport to the unwashed masses even beyond the borders of the Lupo GTI Championship is too good to pass up."

It has been confirmed that the two top Touring Car categories will attend their first meeting together in late November this year, after extensive negotiations in a local pub. The date is scheduled for the 25-27 November at the temporary circuit at Groningen Airport Eelde, the Netherlands, with the event being billed as 'Touring Masters at Groningen'.
To accommodate the new season finale, changes have been made to the closing events of the Reject Touring Car calendar. The double round at Suzuka supporting the International Reject Formula Challenge will be reduced to one, with an extra date added at a yet-to-be-announced location on the weekend of 4-6th of November, before the single round at the season finale in Groningen.
"This is a move aimed to showcase the best of Touring Cars" said a spokesperson for the RTCC. The Lupo Cup GTI series, which has been supporting the RTCC at the majority of rounds this year, will also be heading to Groningen, albeit for a non-championship race.

I am looking to get into some series with my drivers Julian Clark and Randall Wade and/or my team High Performance Racing.

I might be looking for new drivers if Marisa Carrera keeps sputtering around as a backmarker.
