Oh by the way, if you want your regular driver(s) to run at the Spa NC event, please confirm them. If nothing is said, then I'll assume that they're not taking part in the race.
Another thing, there probably won't be a highlights video for Spa, as it would probably be laggy (Not 100% confirmed). Therefore, liveries are completely optional for now. If you want to create one and need the template, tell me on the IRC chat, and I'll give you a link for it.
I will make a post later with the list of drivers competing at this event.

No it's not too late, you still got time. :)
The deadline to confirm drivers / teams for Spa is : February 5th. It gives me a bit of time to do some rFactor editing, testing and some result researches on the drivers currently confirmed.

Still working on the driver skill files, sorry about the time it takes. I'll try to run the event this weekend. Remember it's mostly a just-for-fun event and that I'm using rFactor, so good and bad surprises may happen.
Sorry about the time it's taking, but I've been busy and lazy at the same time recently.

Lupo GTI Championship, Spa Non Championship round, the numbers.
225 : The engine upgrade is ready, and 225hp 1.6 DOHC engine will be used for the next 2 non championship events, and for the 2017 season. 138hp engines were used for the 2016 season.
210 : For safety reason, the top speed of the car remains unchanged.
57 : Kazuki Fushida is the oldest driver competing in this race, closely followed by Jérémy-Etienne Voeckler, aged 56.
56 : That's the number of drivers entered in the event.
16 : Michela Martin and Angelica Lopez are the youngest drivers taking part this weekend.
7 : No less than seven Voecklers will be present, all racing under the Alstom Engineering organisation.
6 : Number of drivers from the Best In The World driver scheme.
2 : The event will last two hours.

I'm also working on the 2017 spec cars, trying to extract more grip from the car, which may (or not) be successful.

Sorry to be a pain Rated, but I have a slight change of plans for Spa:

Peak Motorsport Group:

Harris Finance:
#23 Kristina Harris (Age 22, New Zealand) - replacing Kelly. Car number now #23 not #22
#24 Kaitlyn Harris (Age 18, New Zealand)

John Deere:
#32 Angelica Lopez (Age 16, Mexico)
#33 Hugo Carvalho (Age 21, Portugal)

Also do you need liveries?
Thanks.

About the liveries, it's completely optionnal as there won't be any highlights videos for the two NC rounds this year. (Unless some super silly driving happens)

MADNESS!
The race was red flagged after just 9 laps, 3 of them under safety car caution, after one of too many accidents and careless driving. The incident from the video (lap 5) left too many wrecks and oil on the track. Kurniawan's car caught fire shortly after he collided with Rob Lomas' car. Their cars left debris everywhere and rendered the track unsafe even with the marshalls' work. Firefighters had a tough job at extinguishing the fire from Kurniawan's car. During the three laps under the safety car, the situation was carefully analyzed and the race direction played the safe card by stopping the race and not restarting it. The race was stopped after around 34 minutes out of 120 planned.

ROTR : Rob Lomas Racing / Triq Il Malta for taking their 3 cars out themselves on the same lap.

Sure, but I can't promise you'll have a car or two for 2017. I already promised two to Biscione recently, V8fan12 wants his team to have two cars. So it all depends how many users stay in the series or leave it as I don't really want to have more than 22-24 cars on a track at the same time.

I don't really care too when I get in to the series, just as long as I get in by 2018, which is in the higher end of my expectations. 2017 would be great, though, if possible.

Due to various personnal problems, the last non championship event of the year (at Groningen) might take a while to be run. However I do not want the series to die and will try my best to run the 2017 season if I get the chance to.

The Groningen event will be reserved to the teams currently competing in the championship and the users on the waiting list.
This is an opportunity to give your drivers more experience for the 2017 season, or to test new drivers if you want/need to refresh your line-up for the next season.
Max cars per team : 2. Single car teams will be able to have an additionnal car for this race, two cars teams won't.
Applications are now opened and will close on March 7th (it's a friday).
While we are at it, could you please tell if your team will return in this series on 2017? (If you don't know who you will drive for you on 2017, that's not a problem so far) That would be great, thank you. At the moment, I know Mazzacane Motorsport will not return as they are shutting down their touring cars program.

Code: Select all

Team name :
Team Nationality :

Driver 1 (Repeat if you run two cars)
Name :
Nationality :
Gender :
Age :
Car number :
Canon experience :

2017 rules and changes (Yes, despite some shite going on, I want to run it)
Each team can enter a maximum of two cars.
Each team can use a maximum of two drivers per car during the season, except in extraordinary cases.
Drivers MUST be fictional and older than 16.
The Junior/"Senior"/Woman of the year trophies might be replaced by something else or just be canned. Feel free to post your suggestions if you have any.
The series will be even more a support to the RTCC, but will still feature less races than the RTCC.
Top 3 in the championship shouldn't get the chance to run in a IFRC test at the end of the year. I think this is not helping the drivers to go from 225 hp (138hp on 2016) touring cars to the most powerful single seaters in the ASMF.
Championship winner must move on to another series.
Double dutying will not be allowed anymore.
There could be an activity rule, as I think posting once in a while doesn't hurt.

As usual, feel free to post your ideas/thoughts/suggestions/questions/rants on whatever related to the series/rules.

A slight freshen up of the Nebula operation for 2017. New name, new drivers, and later on...a new livery.

Team name : Álvarez Competición
Team Nationality : Spanish

Driver 1
Name : Jack Connolly

Gender : Male
Age : 18
Car number : 19
Canon experience : F1RDS, RRT (if that gets going...)

Driver 1
Name : Daisuke Yanagawa
Nationality : Japanese
Gender : Male
Age : 20 (I think...)
Car number : 20
Canon experience : He'll have done a bit of F3RWRS and FRENCH come the start of the season.

We'll use the Nebula name and livery for the last time in Groningen, along with these two drivers if there's no clashes.

Just confirming that Kristina Harris will be back for another season with Harris Finance Racing.
