Conflict Resolution - Pirelligate
It has come to light that, due to a lack of oversight on the supplier's part, Pirelli has signed a works tyre contract for 1985 with the Lotus F1 team.

In the Italian media, there are early signs that the tyre company will receive significant criticism, given the company's prominent position in the sport, and that existing Pirelli customer teams based in Italy - currently believed to be Minardi only - have lost out as a result.

To prevent further media blow-back against the Italian tyre supplier, Pirelli request that the Lotus team sign an Italian driver in their remaining race seat - alongside fellow Italian de Angelis - and sign an Italian engine deal, to further represent the country in the sport, and neutralize expected bad press.

Failure to do so will result in the Lotus team being demoted to 'customer' status at Pirelli, losing the vital opportunity to develop the dry and wet compounds, being refunded the difference, and - should this happen, after all driver and engine signing has been completed - the newly-vacated works deal being given to the Minardi team, who - as loyal Pirelli customers - will essentially receive an upgrade to factory-backed status with the tyre supplier, at no cost to the team.

In this situation, Pirelli plan to recover the lost revenue from the works deal by increasing the price of semi-works and/or works deals in 1986.

In a similar theme to the performance rankings added a while ago, I have added a 'Nationalities' data section, which can be seen below the 'Rankings', in this post, at the start of the thread.

I originally intended to use this analysis feature for personal use, as I wanted to see which teams were most likely to attract certain outside investment opportunities from domestic companies, to aid writing special events for the future. However, I wrote a thing that can spit it all out in syntax for this board, so I can auto-generate the 'Nationalities' section after each signing phase for you all.
